Pooky Jane's Kitchen and Pub — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

They have dairy-free fried chicken tenders!!! I have alpha-gal allergies so usually I can't have fried chicken or french fries anywhere, but this place has a surprising amount of options. The owner was willing to start a new pot of oil (to avoid cross contamination with other foods containing dairy). He also made my grilled chicken separately from the rest of the grill (on foil). He took the time to review every ingredient in the entire menu. My husband and kids who don't have allergies also commented on how good the food is. And they have a large connect-four game that kept the kids occupied while we waited for food.

A hole in the wall, doctored up with cheap string lights, way overpriced drinks, average food, and slow service... It looks decent, especially compared to what it was before the name change. The staff are not bad, but can't handle a huge crowd. The karaoke sounded horrible (bad sound engineering, not the singers). The karaoke host will skip you. He drinks while working and I'll assume that is his issue. The bar is so loud you have to yell for the person next to you to hear you. They charge shelf price for cheap whiskey. Can't imagine how expensive their shelf whiskey is. I can't rate it higher...

During a recent road trip from Dallas to Nashville to celebrate the Fourth of July with friends and family, I had the pleasure of dining at Tim and Angie's establishment. My experience, including the BBQ Burger, was exceptional in terms of presentation, flavor, and value.
