This place is a joke! They don’t wash their hands before placing gloves on. There was one guy that gave me a confused look after I asked him to wash his hands. It was almost like the nerve of me to request that of him. His English is broken and not spoken or understood properly. They mix ingredients together. I saw some ranch dressing in the tomatoes. They went up on their price but didn’t change it on the menu. They charge you extra for using a card. I’ve given them enough of my business. It was great first but they have gone down hill now!! I will NOT be patronizing them again. I’ve had better gyros than here. Additionally, since your response was very rude let me make it clear. First of all I wasn’t mad about the price.. the point I’m making is if you’re going to increase the price you need to change it on the menu. That’s common knowledge!!! Who said I ate there like 10 times??? Don’t flatter yourself to think it was that many times. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve eaten here. Point blank you need to clean up your restaurant and get new employees that knows proper kitchen etiquette skills. This isn’t Egypt this is America where hygiene is practiced. My review spoke facts!! You are just mad because I told the truth!!! ...
Read moreI was on my way home this evening, planning to stop at one of my favorite gyro places on Nolensville Road. As I approached, I saw it wasn't open. Where is another one on my way home? Then I thought of a place I had seen a few times, but had not stopped into. Ramiro's Gyros on Murfreesboro Road would be dinner tonight! Walk in to very bright white lights. Looks like many other gyro places. The man serving though was about to change my gyro dining experience! Just a gyro tonight. He asks what I'd like on it. Cucumber cubes, banana peppers, mushrooms, mixed olives, feta, and tzatziki. He put those in the pita, then added the meat, then MIXED THEM IN THE PITA, then repeated the first step, then a third time! HE MIXED THE INGREDIENTS EACH TIME!!! That was beautiful! Finally, someone who knows how to make a gyro that each bite is a varying degree of all of the ingredients! That makes this the best gyro I've ever had! I will definitely be back, and I will eat in the restaurant so I can have an extremely fresh...
Read moreSo glad we found this place! Prices are attractive, so it’s a good place to take the family. I don’t say that too often anymore. This may be the best gyro I’ve had outside of Greece! You definitely want the feta on it. The kofta was also excellent! Tzatziki sauce is also on point here. Hummus was good too (house made) and has a lot of garlic in it. The owner did assume we’d want ranch instead of tzatziki, which was crazy to me, but apparently Americans can’t get past that garbage, even when eating ethnic foods. Just make sure to request the tzatziki sauce if you know what’s up. Owner is very friendly but a little hard to understand. Place is pretty new and quite clean… Hope it stays that way. Will be back, 100%. This is a great place to visit! Close to...
