Venito's Pizza — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I ordered delivery, first let me say the pizza was pretty good, especially the gluten free. Based on the pizza I would have given them a 5 star review just for having gluten free pizza that was good enough to eat and theirs is better than a lot of places. But I ordered it to be delivered to my hotel room because I am out of town with a family member who is sick and recovering from a procedure so I didn’t want to leave them alone to go get food. The driver gets to the hotel and calls and says I have to come down to get it in the lobby because they aren’t allowed up to the rooms…. This is a lie a complete lie that I double checked with the front desk. This is not a hotel that requires a key to access another floor this was just the driver not wanting to take the few extra steps to follow the instructions given on the order even with the extra large tip that was included before hand. I tried to explain that it was no problem just take the elevator to the third floor and I was right there and didn’t want to leave the room but the driver wouldn’t hear of it and forced me to come down to the lobby which required me getting dressed and explaining to my sick family member that I had to step out. Very rude and to completely lie and say it was the hotel that wouldn’t allow it. So the pizza was pretty good but the service was extremely sub par. I didn’t ask for anything outlandish just take an elevator ride not even take stairs to complete a delivery and I tipped 30% on an expensive order for the inconvenience… I would suggest just picking up your...

Venitos is a place I sadly overlooked for years until my wife pointed it out. We've been enjoying them for the last couple years. Every time the flavors are just SO GOOD and we've had a number of their options. They will half and half a pizza for you no problem.

The rest of my review is a response to another review saying Yogi's Pizza is better. After reading that review, we tried 'em out, but after just a couple bites of Yogi's we locked eyes and a knowing look of disappointment passed between us.... Yogi's large is bigger than Venitos, but for just a large and 3 garlic knots, you're spending nearly 30 bucks!! Yogi's was filling, but honestly... worse than FROZEN PIZZA. The water content was too high creating a pizza that was a bit soggy, the crust was cardboardy, and their deluxe pizza was just bland! I was shocked at how little flavor it had with so much on it. We were throwing the garlic salt, parmesan, and red peppers on our first slice, which is never a good sign.

Another thing that kind of shocked and annoyed us about Yogi's was that, when we tried to half and half the pizza, they wanted to charge us even more because it's "hard on the kitchen". So we got one flavor instead of two, which we always do with Venitos. So no, Yogi's is not better. Venitos wins in flavor and value, and they don't nickel and dime you for half-and-halfing.

We'll be sticking with Venitos! Thanks for all of the happy date nights, guys. Sorry we cheated on you...

I ordered and was sent something we did not even ask about nor mention i asked for onion rings received breadsticks on tip of that was argued with as a women like im not a paying cutomer let them know that i was not happy with my order that it had not been touched and to please come retrieve all items and i would like a refund and was not only talked down to but was humiliated by not only the person taking the order but ge decided to put the driver on the phone to also argue i in return just wanted my money back for all of there items no one is going to eat it especially after the experience the hotel recommended the restaurant and i highly rate that you choose another option if your family is traveling and hungry during your stay the pizza was ok the wings were soggy almost not done the fries were hot but not done and the people that work there feel like its ok to argue with someone instead of just retrieving there wrong poor quality food and give the customer there money back i do not recommend this place i just went through something rridiculous and have to keep food that no one will eat...
