The AI drive thru system is ridiculous! Even with a basic order, it's hard to order because the system may freeze, or it'll add random things to the order. But especially if you try to customize your order in any way, it's a nightmare. It should not take that long to place an order.... And at most, I order 2 combos at a time. Imagine if I had a family of 6 to order for. It's gonna take 45 minutes to put my order in via AI.
Eventually I can get connected to a real person, but every time I do, the employees seem so annoyed that they have to speak with me. Especially when I'm paying $20 for my meal, I'm not down for a sassy attitude along with it.
I don't appreciate being treated like I'm the one inconveniencing them, when all I'm trying to do is get food because I'm hungry. I'm not trying to be difficult....
So even though I love the charbroiled burgers, I think I'm done with Carl's Jr. until they make it apparent to me that this AI crap is gone, and their employees fix their attitudes.
I tried to get around it by placing a mobile order and they still messed it up, they still seemed inconvenienced, and they didn't ask me for the name on the order until I was at the pickup window, when they should've verified that back when I was at the order speaker... And even then, I said "I have a mobile order" and the response I got was "yeah". Not a, "okay" or "I'll have your order at the...
Read moreI believe I have become my father at times. He lived during the Depression and would always comment where is the day old bread (fresh bread without the preservatives and chemicals gets hard after a day or two so the stores would discount it by more than half off. I remember (this is what he always would say) bit I remember when Burger King, Wendys and Taco Bell had dollar menu items and you could get a burger meal for under $10. I left home with $12 and thought i had enough to get the $6 Dollar burger meal. It came to almost $13. Luckily I hate loose change so I usually leave it in the center console. My family said to only go when you have a coupon and can get the same meal for $5. It's interesting to note that these places certainly aren't losing money when you get a coupon price. If you buy bread at Wal-Mart they charge almost $3 a loaf yet the exact same brand and size loaf is only a dollar at the...
Read moreHave gone here a few times, it's normally decent me and the wife get the same order which is a #4 combo med with reg fry and its nice that I get a military discount, however this last trip I was told that they do accept military discount only on non combo items or special deals, now I understand the special deals but it has never been an issue towards a combo meal, also the kid at the window was rude and almost threw my order out the window and made it seam like a big issue when I asked for napkins, ketchup and BBQ sauce, to which he gave me a single pack of ketchup, one ranch, and maybe 2 napkins for me and my wife, additional our frys where only filled 1/3 of the way up and they where cold, we spent 21 dollars for two combo meals of poor quality. I am never eating at this location again. In short: rude staff, skimped on order, they do not honor their companies policy on...
