Maple St Bakery — Restaurant in Naugatuck

I had never been to this bakery before but followed them on Facebook. One day I saw a photo of a cake they posted and thought it was gorgeous. We were planning our son's first birthday party with an "Under the sea" theme. Well....I went to check things out. Amazing little bakery. I tried their canolis, custard cups and cream puffs before ordering anything! I figured if they were good then I'll order more! They were Delicious!!! Best ever!! Rui was a complete sweetheart and bounced ideas back and forth with us and would be our main contact through the owner. They were so sweet, reliable and made us trust they'd do a great job!! I couldn't have been more happy about our order than I was. Seeing our beautiful cake made me tear up and thr cupcakes to go with it matched perfectly!! We will use this bakery over again and again! I've lived in Naugatuck on and off for years since I was 19. Shame on me for just discovering this place a few months ago! Every pastry and bread I've bought is absolutely delicious 😋 The staff are most welcoming and sincerely care about the service they offer to their customers. If there is something you want and they don't have it available, they will make a special order for you and it will be the very next morning. Finding this quaint family bakery in the town I live in has made my husband and I very happy. It's absolutely wonderful that these cozy family run businesses are still around because they've become so rare in these times. Definitely drop by this bakery and try a little of everything! You will be happy you did and will not want to buy your pastries or breads from a big franchise store again! We love Maple Street Bakery, it a ritual stop nearly every Sunday morning. We buy still warm amazing Portuguese rolls and a few pastries. The eclairs remind me of the ones my mom made me as a child. My girl loves the Portuguese rolls with the egg in the middle of them. Other customers must feel the same because we witnessed a lady buy the whole tray. Prices are cheap, unbelievably cheap and the staff is really nice. This place is exactly what Naugatuck needed.
