WashingtonSt.Sweets — Restaurant in Nelsonville

Very lovely little ice cream place! Nelsonville has next to nothing in the way of nice little eateries like this so it’s nice to finally have something down here. The food is nothing “super unique” or anything like that but it is good and the prices are decent. Staff is very friendly and swift with orders, and there’s also a little area behind the truck you can walk down to that overlooks the Hocking River, as well as a greenhouse across from the food truck.

Would definitely recommend for families passing through that want a quick, cheap snack...

Hands down, the best soft-serve ice cream in southeastern Ohio. Every time I’ve gone, the staff is always so incredibly friendly and the ice cream is criminally underrated.

It’s attached to a beautiful farm/flower market which makes for a great hangout while you enjoy your sweet treat. There’s also direct access from the Hocking River! You can paddle right up and grab ice cream! The prices on everything are very fair. 10/10 spot, more people need to know about this lovely...
