Cone Zone — Restaurant in Neptune City

As a long time loyal customer of The Cone Zone I'm deeply saddened and it pains me to write this. I just went to the cone zone at about 8:55PM on Saturday April 29th with my mom and my girlfriend. The girls who took our order and served us ice cream were sweet nice girls and this is not directed at them. About a minute after we got our ice cream we were just having a few of our first bites when another girl from the back came out and I quote said "we do not allow solicitation of any kind so we have to ask you to leave". Mind you, we were paying customers. A few younger kids came in about 2 minutes before this and some of the employees greeted them and commented on their outfit. Clearly they were friends and the girl employee forced paying customers out of the store while it was raining outside so they could have social time. I could hear the kids snickering in the back as we walked out of the store. I never would have expected such rude treatment of customers by the Cone...

I usually go here a few times a week. Two weeks ago, I went and was not happy with the ice cream or the service.

I ordered peanut butter crunch, but it was pretty much just vanilla ice cream - practically no crunch and very little peanut butter. When she scooped it, I saw that it looked like vanilla. I asked her if there was any crunch in there, and she said "yeah", then I said it just looked like vanilla, and while she was looking at the screen to ring me up she says, "I don't know, I don't really look at that"...then handed me my card back.

I got home and started eating it, and sure enough it was pretty much just vanilla.

Very disappointed in the inconsistency of the ice cream, but more so how it was handled.

I had a wonderful experience with the Cone Zone team! Jovanny was helpful from the beginning in getting the ice cream truck booked for my wedding pizza party event. He was proactive and even visited the venue prior to our event so that he knew where to park the truck. He followed up beforehand so that all details were confirmed and I felt confident that he would be there and ready to go. Jovanny and Angel showed up on time and were so friendly. They scooped massive scoops of ice cream for my guests. There were so many options included, such as hard ice cream, egg waffles, soft serve, and milkshakes.
