I’ve been to this restaurant very often as my wife is pregnant and craves their food. I’ve listed items that we have tried that are excellent and we reorder often in order of how good they are below.
The steak and cheese sub - super flavorful, bread is crisp. Definitely recommend trying this! The chicken tikka platter - one of the best chicken kabob options in the area, chicken is soft and well marinated. They use a very high quality rice as well which makes this pairing delicious! Cheeseburger/Double Cheeseburger - very tasty and flavorful, no complaints. Bolani (Chicken) - think of it like an Afghan quesadilla filled with chicken, potatoes, onions, and spices. It’s a little thicker than other bolani I’ve tried as the chicken is not mashed or cut up as well, but that didn’t detract from the flavor.
What we would not reorder: Spicy chicken zinger - was not crispy enough or flavorful enough to justify trying again. The spicy sauce overwhelmed the somewhat bland patty as is. After trying a multitude of other crispy/fried chicken sandwiches, this is in a lower tier than most. The beef kofta was lacking flavor compared to other beef kabobs I have tried, and was somewhat chewy.
What’s left to try that I have heard is good: The gyro sandwich or gyro platter (chicken and lamb)
Outside of the food, there is a great large seating area. I want to shoutout the brother at the front who is always super nice, helpful, and friendly! Great customer service, and very liberal when providing extra white sauce or other items on...
Read moreI've always passed by this place but I never even thought to visit bc this place always seemed empty and seemed to be a revolving door for businesses to open and unfortunately close.
Nonetheless, all I can say is WOW! The guy taking my order was super cool and he was very patient with me and answered my questions without hesitation (there were 4 different chicken shish kabobs). I ordered to go and the food came pretty fast and the price was reasonable.
When I got home and ate, oh man was it amazing. The chicken shish kabob was so good! I also had the mixed platter with the white and spicy red sauce and I was in heaven man. My wife also had the rice pudding which she said was pretty good.
I will be coming back here frequently to get my halal food fix! Wish I found this place sooner! It's a busy road (rt 35) so please be careful when you exit the parking lot as it gets challenging during peak hours (4-6 pm) when everyone is trying to get...
