They have a nice selection of bagels but that is about it. We ordered lunch out from here today and with your sandwich order you receive a small container of macaroni salad, potato salad or coleslaw. They were all out of a bucket that was purchased from a supplier and not homemade. You can go to the Sam's Club and get the same exact thing. My co-work got a sandwich which was fine nothing special and made with Boar's Head which is a plus. I ordered a veggie wrap which I should have questioned since it had absolutely no description of it on the menu. It was the skinniest wrap I have ever received in my life. It was a hot wrap which I was not expecting. I was expecting more of a salad in a wrap. What I got was some cooked zucchini, peppers, onions and mushrooms in a wrap that was then put on a panni grill. It was a bit lacking in flavor and wrapped very tightly. Upon biting into it the end shot open and all over the front of me. I spent the rest of my work day with this wrap all down the front of me. Wrapping it so tightly then putting it on the panni grill made it into a little bomb waiting to go off. Normally the end of a wrap will just open up causing you to rewrap or hold it awkwardly over your plate. This actually burst open. This place is nothing special for lunch. There are many other places you can go to to get a better...
Read moreToday I purchased a breakfast sandwich that had (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, honey mustard, provolone cheese and a hash brown on rye toast. I don't eat meat so I assumed this wouldn't be a problem) I paid over 6 dollars for my sandwich and when I got to work and opened the sandwich, I was missing the hash browns, honey mustard and onions. Now I go to other places and only pay about $2.50 for this sandwich (Joes Bagels In Long branch) I have eaten here before but this was my first disappointment. I called to speak to a manager and a lady who answered told me " My Bad, I forgot, We were busy" I'm sorry but I was there for 10 plus minutes and they were not that busy. I work in customer service as well and this is not how things should be conducted. She wasn't apologetic and this was very disappointing. Not sure i...
Read moreAfter many years of great breakfast sandwiches, I was very disappointed today. Returning from a long winter in Florida, my first stop home was to Pop's Bagels. I was excited to order my go to Porkroll on a sesame bagel. Believe me, 5 slices of very thin porkroll did not cut it! That's half the normal portion, which used to be 5 thick cut slices. I have a message to the owner, consistency is key. Leave the portion size the same & raise the price, this way I can expect the same quality sandwich every time. Less meat with a higher price is not the answer. Sorry but my wife's buttered bagel had hardly any butter on it also. This is a good way to...
