From start to finish I give the service 5 stars. The hostess (Echo) was friendly and helpful in sharing her favorites around the menu. We felt welcome all the way out the door. The food: Presentation was outstanding again 5 stars. We ordered fajitas, 2 types (suiza/chicken and red sauce/ground beef),chimichanga, fideo, and tortillas (flour and corn). Our objective was to go and try a little bit of everything we felt was key to Mexican food. Their fajitas tasted like they were processed or preordered, I can't put my finger on it but they didn't have the flavor and texture I'm used to back home. Enchiladas were way salty, fideo tasted like they used mostly caldo de tomate Knorr and there was only about 1 TBSP of noodles to about 8 oz. of broth that's it. The guacamole didn't taste fresh, lacked lime and a little more salt. The rice was a little dry. I wasnt excited about the pico de gallo served on the same plate as my chimichanga since I was hoping for a crunch. The shredded beef was delicious. If I were to go back and order anything it would be the chimichanga with shredded beef beans and cheese ALL inside the tortilla if they allowed it. The tortillas were ok. I think La Bonita has better but I believe they put sugar in there's. Why? So... Juan's FF although my pallet wasn't into the food, thank you for your kind hospitality, you have a beautiful business, great staff.

If you find yourself in Las Vegas craving authentic, affordable Mexican cuisine, Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina on Tropicana is a must-visit destination. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere and the delightful aroma of traditional Mexican dishes. One of the highlights is the complimentary freshly made chips, served with not one, but three delectable dips, alongside a tasty soup. It's a perfect start to your culinary journey here. But the real star is their fresh guacamole, prepared right at your table. It's not an overstatement to say it's one of the best guacamoles you'll ever taste - rich, creamy, and bursting with fresh flavors. For the main course, the beef fajitas are a standout choice. Served sizzling, the fajitas are not only delicious but also generously portioned, ensuring you'll likely have some to take home. The staff's attentiveness and friendliness add to the overall dining experience, making you feel truly taken care of. A word of advice: make sure to book a reservation. This popular spot can be challenging to get into with a drop-in, especially given its reputation and the quality of food and service. Juan's Flaming Fajitas & Cantina is more than just a meal; it's a delightful culinary experience that you shouldn't miss while in Las Vegas.

Great Mexican restaurant, with an authentic atmosphere feeling. I'm not a Mexican food expert but I love the place for the food and even more for the prices! We mainly go there for lunch to enjoy their lunch menu (love places with lunch menu 🙂). We've been there a couple times and we have not been disappointed so far. We had the flaming fajitas which is a must try just for the presentation with the huge flames 🔥. The kids love it and the adults too. We tried both chicken and beef and both were good. It's coming with rice and bean and everything needed for your fajitas. Just don't forget to mix everything often on the stone if you don't want your food to burn while the stone is still hot. We were super hungry the last time we were there with the 2 kids so we took 2 kids menus and 2 flaming fajitas and it was way too much for us (which is a good thing 🙂) because we were already full of the complementary chips tortillas. Next time if we go with the kids, we'll just take 1 kid menu to share between 2 and I will recommend the burrito which is Big for a kids burrito!! Good value for $7.99!! And my favorite part is the l'un margarita for $4.79!! Love it! The staff is very friendly and the place is clean, including the restroom. I definitely recommend this place.

Let me preface this negative review by saying that the food was fantastic. My compliments to the kitchen staff, they are not the ones deserving of this criticism. If you don't want to keep reading, just know. That if you walk in and Kevin is the manager. Walk out. That is real advice from a real person.

Basically, long story short, I ordered and picked up to go food at about 4 PM, but due to circumstances completely out of my control I was unable to eat it until almost 6:30 PM. I called, they agreed to "re make" the food (it was definitely microwaved, no complaints there I completely understand. It was still tasty regardless and I don't fault them for this). I go in, and talk to the manager Kevin, I give him my 95% uneaten food (I really genuinely couldn't eat it before) and then when he leaves I ask if I could be able to sit even though I have my meal coming back to me. They sit me anyway. Kevin removed me from the seat and told me the host probably didn't know what the case was. Fair enough, I also don't fault anyone here. Where I get mad is what comes next. I asked a group of people sitting at a very large table who have extra seating room if I could please sit with them. They agree and so I find silverware and try sitting again and back again is Kevin. He tells me I can't sit in the restaurant, this is my second time being removed, I bought takeout, I must leave with it. Then another patron at that table says "oh no, he's with us. He's sitting with us". That should be the end of it. Would be a perfectly good experience. But no. Kevin argues with the patron and says "well, how could he be with you when he ordered to go 2 hours ago and then came back?". The other patron says I am good to sit there with them, Kevin asks again to be sure, then finally leaves.

What in the world. First of all, I am already a paying customer. Secondly, other paying customers are telling you it's okay and that I'm with them and Kevin turns to arguing with them. Thankfully he let me sit there after it all but wow. There is no good reason for that. Sure, when the host mistakenly gives me a booth, it would take from other customers. Okay. Sure. If they weren't okay with me sitting with their group then that's that and I gotta leave that table. Understood. But --after-- they said I was with them?

Kevin. Buddy. Your paying customers are what make your establishment. Yes, respect your boundaries, yes, enforce rules, but there is no need to be rude to a whole large table of ~7 or 8 people because of something that does not affect your bottom line.

Tl;dr, great food. Awful manager. I'm not eating there again until after Kevin is no longer...

I’m giving this establishment a one star review because the service is TERRIBLE. Went here on Father’s Day with a reservation because I knew it would be busy. Arrived for my reservation ahead of time because I understand it’s a holiday. So I arrive and I’m informed right away that the wait time is 30mins I let the host know I have a reservation and I just wanted to check in early so that they are aware I’m here and that if it’s possible we could be seated sooner. She says probably not because there’s a minimum 30mins wait time. Ok, again I don’t have any issues. My issue is after this happened there were several parties that came into the restaurant and were seated immediately and they did not have a reservation. So I asked the host after I witnessed everyone being seated before me who had no reservation why I could not be seated if there were available seating. She informed me that because I had a reservation that I would need to wait for my time slot to be seated. That made no sense to me and I asked her why, that doesn’t make sense to make me wait when tables are available. She responded “ok well that’s our policy you can talk to the manager”. Like how rude. I waited to be seated and other than that incident and our drinks being completely wrong the food was very flavorful and I would’ve enjoyed myself had I not been treated badly for having a...
