My wife and I walked here from Harrahs. Not a long walk but definitely steep up hill walk. We were there on a Tuesday and arrived about 5pm. The sign flashing in the front window said open 24 hours. But I also read some reviews that stated that they closed at 8pm during the week. Either way, we were there plenty of time before 8pm. We walked in and sat at a round table near the bar. There were about 6 people sitting at the bar, all had a drink in front of them. There was a couple at another table near our table that got up and left shortly after we got there. I just assumed they were done. Long story short, we sat there for about 20 minutes and the bartender never acknowledged us or attempted to take an order from us. We decided to leave since we weren't even acknowledged that we were there. We went outside to try to decide where else we could go. While standing near the intersection, a gentleman pulled up in a dark colored cadillac and parked near the building but crossways to the marked parking. As he walked toward the entrance, I told him good luck if he wanted to get some food. The guy looked over his shoulder and said in a snarky tone in his voice, "well yeah I know, they're closed." I predict that this place will probably be another casualty of failed bar/restaurants with the lack of caring or wanting customers at what most people would call a normal dinner time. It's too bad, this place has a lot of potential and this town doesn't seem to have many options in the evening unless you want fast food or delivery. Save yourself the time and don't bother wasting any of your time at this place! You will be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place looked inviting from the outside: had country music playing and a placard indicating that lunch is served here. On the inside, it is dark and drab with no lively atmosphere. There is no host and no indication to sit in the empty dining tables, so we walked to the bar and sat down since the only 4 patrons in the place were sitting there too. We ordered drinks, took our masks off, and before we could inquire about lunch, we were rudely told to leave masks on at all times, even when drinking. The woman bartender further screamed at us that this was a casino and not a restaurant, even though their sign outside indicated otherwise. The only gaming tables we saw were the consoles at the bar area. I can now understand why there were only 4 patrons. There are plenty of other establishments in the area to spend your money at and have a great experience at the same...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust went to their reopening. Band playing. They said they were closed for remodeling but we couldn't find anything remodeled. Nothing has really changed. Ordered appetizers so we wouldn't have to keep our mask on at the table (sign on table tells u with food you can take the mask off) but one appetizer was burnt (chips and salsa) and the other was cold (Jalapeno Poppers). We kept being told to put our mask on and we kept saying we have food and they would relent but come back later and tell us to put our mask on, happened about 5 times. We stopped going there about a year and a half ago because the food and service had gotten really bad but we thought we would try it again. This time the service was ok, (understaffed table service) but the food is still horrendous. It will be a long time before we...
