My husband and I decided on outback for dinner in laughlin,NV. We had our meal, service was poor. Waiter brought check, my husband handed waiter his card. Waiter returned. Husband tipped $20 and singed. We went off to casino to gamble after dinner to which our Waiter came to roulette table pulling us off stating that we did not pay our bill escorting us back to outback. We stood in front check in area discussing that yes we paid the bill that was given to us. Totally humiliated embarrassing making it appear as if we skipped our bill..pulling us off of a table even in Casino. Waiter flipped through his little booklet, I see my husband's signature on the receipt and point out to Waiter that's our bill that is clearly paid. Waiter then realized he gave us the wrong bill and we paid someone else's bill and now they want our bill paid. My husband being a nice guy and totally embarrassed gave him debit card and we paid second bill. Waiter could not give us any sort of guarantee that the 1st bill we paid would be refunded. Will never return to outback as we were completely humiliated in front of several people watching not to mention being pulled from table game area as if we skipped our bill. We usually leave and go right out the door to home. What would outback have done if we did not stay and gamble that night? They would have done what they SHOULD have done in the 1st place and own up to...
Read more(Edit)Before I begin the review, I would like to suggest that you should make a reservation before arrival. There was no wait when I checked online while staying next door at the Edgewater Hotel, but by the time we walked over, there was a long wait. Reservations can be made through the link here on maps, or through their website.
This Outback Steakhouse is located inside the Aquarius Hotel, on the river side of the main casino floor.
When we arrived, there was no line. We walked right up to the hostess stand. We were told that there was a 20 to 30 minute wait. They asked for my cell number and said that they would text me when the table is ready.
We received the text and was seated immediately. We sat at one of the tables that surrounds the bar.
We were immediately greeted by one of the bartenders who took our drink and then our food orders.
We started with a blooming onion. I had a rib eye steak and my friend had the sirloin steak.
Both of the steaks were cooked properly. The service was great, with frequent call backs to make sure everything was ok.
If you want a decent steak dinner, less expensive than the casino steak houses. Outback Steakhouse is worth...
Read moreAll I can say is wow! I've been to this casino before and always wanted to try the Outback and this time I finally did it. The huge line to get a table definitely hurts this restaurant in my opinion. You can expect to wait no less than an hour or more on the weekends to get a table for dinner so make sure to reserve your spot in the queue well in advance.
Once we got seated though the service was great and the food blew my expectations away. I started off with a tasty and crunchy blooming onion appetizer. The sauces this comes with really elevate it and make for a great start to my meal. Then I ordered my serloin steak with ribs and sweet potato as well as a side of french onion soup. I got my steak medium rare and it was the juiciest steak I've had in Nevada so far. So flavorful with every bite. My ribs were falling off the bone and the sweet potato sealed the deal on this great dish. I can't forget my French onion soup. They serve it with a side of bread and butter and it's just a wonderful side dish for the steak.
Great food, great service. Easy 4 stars only lost a rating because we waited an hour and forty minutes...
