tldr; Terrible place. The food is the same as every pe but the service is awful, especially online orders.
The only reason I went to this store is because it's close by to another errand otherwise I would never eat there. The customer service is awful and parking is a hassle as well. Every other place I've been to, I ask for my order by name and they give it to me. The pickup orders are just a few feet from the register. But this particular store I get hassled all the time but not any more because I'm done. I'll go to the takeout next to smiths across the street; better food anyway. Last time I was there, they grabbed the order and then insisted that I tell them the phone number before they would hand it over. There's only one order on the counter for pickup! So it's raining today, hard and I have to park a couple hundred yards away and then I'm not ordering food but there's only person handling the checkout and she's ignoring me and just walks away. This other woman comes over and it's just chaos as she's trying to figure out who is next as they don't have a line for pickup orders anyway. So again, I asked for my order by name and she insists that I have to give her a confirmation number or email. Well, I'm not trudging out to my truck for my phone in the rain. My order is maybe 3 ft away on the counter. I don't need an email or confirmation number. She's just yanking my chain on purpose. It's not the first time I've dealt with this woman. She was the one before a few weeks ago that wouldn't give me my order without verifying my phone number on the order. If she had asked, I would have told her but she's just standing there staring at me. Doesn't bother to check the orders or anything. Just staring at me. Read moreHonestly, this Panda Express used to be the best one around. I am not sure what happened, but the chicken is always extremely undercooked and I have to cook it more in my microwave at home. The people there are working TOO fast and not preparing the food correctly because you can tell that they just want the day to go by fast and go home. But people are getting sick from eating the food here and someone is going to end up sueing if issues aren’t fixed soon.
Another con is that this store closes at 10pm and the store is still extremely packed at 9:55pm. The manager needs to talk to HR about having the store staying open until 11 like some other pandas. This would bring in so much more money. But again all they care about is getting home as soon as possible. When you have a job, you are supposed to have passion and care in your work. If you don’t then you should not be working there at all. Because I am sure that there is someone else that would be HAPPY to work there and to provide excellent service.
I actually know the district manager to this location personally (she is my friend) and I will be letting her know what is going on at this Panda. I will change this review once I find that this location changes their mistakes.
UPDATE: I have been giving this panda location a few more chances lately and they have definitely improved. The food tastes a lot better and a lot more fresh. Still not at a 5 star. But I am changing my 1 star review to a 3 star. I still feel that this panda is WAY too fast. Just slow it down a little bit. I Literally have tried to utilize all options of service they offer and I have found myself becoming more and more displeased. Serving food is and always will be a "CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB" and I feel it to be ' VASTLY ' Important for ALL employers to remind their staff of that, and make sure they know exactly what that means. this young girl was 100% rude and dismissive when I asked questions about an entree I had never eaten before, also asking if I could try it before I decided that is what I wanted. Now it is not my job to know what the rules are and aren't but it is the expeditors duty to kindly inform any customer of any changes and also why.Not give attitude roll eyes and rush the customer to order so you can get to the bunches if people who were not behind my family.. literally no one was behind us at the time.. no reason to be rude, further dismiss my inquiries about other entrees..
