The PGA Tour Grill Experience (Dine-In Edition). I had a layover at Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, on my travels to Arizona. My family and I wanted to eat somewhere that could offer a dine-in or a sit-down option. So we walked around the airport and stopped at the PGA Tour Grill. This place seemed nice, and I liked the ambiance it provided. Then, just by a whim, so ironic, my dad told the waitress that he was from the south and wanted his burger a certain way. So our waitress said I am from the south as well. So we asked her what part, and she told us Raleigh, NC. We almost came out of our seats with joy because we are from North Carolina. We live about an hour and 30 minutes from Raleigh, so we were pleased to have her. It was like being helped by a cousin or someone you knew since she was so personable. So I ordered the grilled chicken caesar salad made with romaine hearts, shaves parmesan, toasted garlic croutons, with creamy lemon anchovy dressing. When the food came out, I was not that impressed. My salad looked sad and a little wilted from the heat. It was ok and provided me with nourishment, but it was not the taste or size I was expecting for the price. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the service, and if it were not for the waitress from North Carolina, this would have been a horrible experience. If I am ever back at Harry Reid International Airport, I will be skipping the PGA Tour Grill.

Good spot! Quesadillas were really good! Quick and good service. Chicken fingers and Greek salad were really good as well. I definitely recommend this place before your flight!

A pleasant surprise in the airport--as the only real "sit down" restaurant near A gates, there was a decent line to wait for a table. As I was traveling solo on this occasion, 1 appreciated that the hostess occasionally went through the line and offered single travelers the option to grab a free seat at the bar as they became available. This is where it went from a normal airport dining experience to just enjoyable--the bartender, Melissa, was kind but efficient, with an outgoing personality that put everyone at ease and kept everyone smiling. If I was rating purely on Melissa and her service, this would be a solid 5-star review--I hope management realizes they have a gem. For food, I chanced a salad in a desert airport--but was pleasantly surprised. The Greek salad was full of a generous amount of kalamatas, tomatoes, veggies, and feta, and the dressing was neither too oily or too sweet. I added the flank steak, medium rare, and it was tender, cooked perfectly with a flavorful marinade. The drinks, while airport spendy, were generous pours. If you have time to eat here, I wouldn't hesitate. It can be a wait, it can be loud--but it's an airport terminal.

We had a very bad experience with this restaurant at first. Once we were seated, we waited for almost 20 minutes before being acknowledged by a waiter (after going up to the hostess and asking if we were missed on accident). Then the waiter made a backhanded comment about how there was a line behind “being behind”. It would have just been nice for him to say something like “hi I’m your server, we’re really behind and I’ll be with you soon.” We wouldn’t have minded at all, but it was like we didn’t even exist. Because they were so behind and it’d be a while (clearly from the waiters attitude), I brought out playing cards to pass the time while we waited for him to come to our table. Steven, our waiter, eventually came up to us and was immediately extremely aggressive in behavior. At first, I thought he was just teasing and being funny, but he was not. He said there was a restaurant policy that we couldn’t play cards, charge our phones (which we weren’t and didn’t intend to), and that we couldn’t get anything for free. We were shocked. I was happy to put the cards away if it’s an issue. That was no big deal. He went on to lecture us that this is a place of revenue… but we brought out the cards to pass the time since HE hadn’t come once to our table. We mentioned that we’d been waiting for almost 20 mins and his response was “no that’s not true. We can bring up the cameras if we need to”, which of course we’d be glad to do so he could see he neglected our table. He then made a sly comment about how “if you’re from Texas, well I’m sorry” as a response to the conversation because I had a Texas sweater on (I’m not from Texas, it was a souvenir sweater lol). He then went on to talk bad about us to other waiters and the hostess very loudly, in front of us. He was dismissive of our request for the manager and kept asking what we wanted for food. Again, we wanted to talk to the manager first.

We asked for the manager several times and when he came, he offered to get a new server. Our only reason for asking for the manager was so that he could see how his server was behaving. When the manager arrived, Steven went to tell his side of the story to the manager before coming to us and the manager did let us know there was no issue with playing cards. Again, we came to eat food, not play cards. We brought them out as a response to the slow service. We did mention to the manager that he should look at the cameras to review the whole interaction himself. Never in my life have I ever experienced such an aggressive waiter like this one. I don’t know if he was having a bad day, but it was totally unacceptable. He was incredibly hostile and kept snickering towards us and at other waiters even after having a new waiter.

I will say, the new waiter, Danny, was very efficient and kind. He got our food out quickly and the food...

We were looking for somewhere to have a nice, sit down meal for our long layover. Wouldn’t go here again. We waited in line for a while, which was no problem; it’s a busy Sunday afternoon. When we are seated, the host (without a hello, how are you, smile or any sort of greeting) throws two menus on the table for the three of us and says, “Share the menus.” Then she walks away. Our server, Georgina, who was nice at first got us our drinks, and then took our order. After she walked away, we realized we had ordered a plant-based burger instead of a real one, so we tried to get her attention before she rang it in, which we did. She looked at us, from about ten feet away and did not move until we had to motion to her to come closer..? To which she then looked put out that she had to come over to our table. We just didn’t want to yell across the entire restaurant about the mix up. When our food came, only 2/3 plates arrived and she had said to wait on my meal. That was it. So we patiently waited and about 8 minutes later, we asked her where my meal was. To this, she responded with an attitude, “Well those two meals were going to get cold.” As if food shouldn’t normally come out at the same time. I don’t mind waiting a few minutes, but she walked past our table many times without an update or even looking at us. She did seem to have quite a few tables, but absolutely no urgency, so there wasn’t an excuse for the way she continued to treat us. She then brought out my food, dropped it on the table and left without a word. After one bite, I quickly realized this was completely a different flatbread than what I had ordered. I flagged her down and kindly stated that I didn’t think this was the right order, and that I had ordered a different flatbread. She, without a word again, snatches my plate up and leaves. She then brings me the correct order, drops it on the table, and leaves again without saying anything. The food was pretty good, that’s the one good comment I have. She never stopped to check on us. She was giving dirty looks and left the restaurant to stand outside and talk to another airport worker, which is fine if you don’t have tables needing anything, but this was not the case for her.

As a server myself, and the two others at the table had served before or worked in food service, this was unacceptable service and you could tell she really didn’t care. We should’ve gone to...

I don't write bad reviews until it is extremely bad. On our way home we decided to grab food before our flight. As we walked up to the restaurant, we noticed a line. This is completely understandable since there are thousands of people passing through the airport terminal on a given day. However, as we stood in line, we noticed several tables going uncleaned. For 20 minutes we watched a 2-top stay dirty. Finally a man cleaned off the dishes. Two minutes later a woman wiped it down. Roughly three more minutes later the table had fresh silverware on it. Then, and only then, did the hostess walk the two women in front of us 5 feet to the table to seat them. They had stood there for almost 30 minutes looking at an available table. They could have been sat immediately but it really felt like the workers didn't want to seat them. Then it was apparently clear; there was a shift change occuring shortly and no one wanted to work until the next shift came in. You would think this would solve the issue with a fresh set of hands coming on board, but instead it presented a whole new host of problems. It appeared that the wait staff didn't correctly divide the sections of tables evenly among themselves. This created a very obvious atmosphere of contention between they staff. This didn't stop the host from seating tables. After waiting ~37 minutes we (and two other tables) were sat. For some reason the seating stopped even though half of the restaurant was empty. It would stay this way for some time. Absolutely no one checked on us for 10 minutes. This ideally shouldn't be an issue since you can scan a QR code and order your food online. However, since the wait staff were arguing amongst themselves they never turned on the system. Finally at one point a waitress caught my glance and asked the others to speak with the sat tables. This was the first time we had genuinely been helped. I was able to order my food and I could not be happier to leave as soon as possible.

It's a shame, this restaurant has a cool atmosphere to it. The food isn't half bad either. I really wanted to try the chicken tenders. As we continue to go to Vegas, we will never again eat at...
