Incline Village Championship Golf Course — Attraction in Nevada

Just okay. Nice layout and in fairly good shape, but I expect a lot more for $140 a round. Few hiccups - they moved my tee time back one or two times without telling me. Not a big deal, but a little bizarre from a course like this and they couldn’t find me in the system when I checked in. Also, there seemed to be nobody at the bag drop or assisting getting people with getting setup, so took a little while to figure out where to go get squared away. They didn’t include range balls with the tee time- which is very bizarre for a course like this (and range balls were super expensive - $7 for maybe 20 balls). Lastly, there was a kids camp that had overrun both the practice and chipping green, and was near impossible to warm up. All for kids golf but disappointing for the price. If it was $80 a round, I would have been a little more forgiving, but I would probably drive a little further out and play...

This is a pretty golf course that is very difficult. The reason I can not give it a higher rating is the gps system. The gps system is terrible. It is really nothing more than one advertising picture after advertising picture, after advertising picture. Plus the holes are very poorly noted on the gps. After the advertising, the holes take up very little of the screen compared to the out of bounds or waste areas. For a difficult course it was made that much more difficult by the gps system. At the end of the day given the cost to play and the rental club cost I can not recommend this course unless you are someone who is a 10 or less handicap with their own range finder and clubs.

Champ course 5 stars, great track, golf shop, nice electric carts with GPS, super staff. Mountain course 2 stars, nice track, smelly noisey gas carts, not for serious players. "Horse Race" events very stupid and disrespectful to anyone else playing. Maybe fun for the drunken participants, should close course or warn other players if this is being done. Will never play there again. Champ course only. I've been golfing since age 5 and this is very disrespectful. Golf is all about concentration. Some genius who obviously doesn't get it decides to increase revenue by running this type of event in the middle of serious players - just boneheaded...
