From the outside, Bad Brads BBQ might look like a small, unassuming spot—but don’t let that fool you. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a warm, homey atmosphere that feels inviting and comfortable, like you’ve stumbled upon a local secret you can’t wait to share.

What truly made our experience unforgettable was our server, Alyssa. From the moment we sat down, she was on her game—friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive. She kicked things off by asking if we’d been there before, and when she learned that only one of us was new, she made it a point to highlight the specials and even pointed out some new additions for the returning guest. Alyssa had that rare blend of energy and warmth that makes you feel both taken care of and at home. She checked in just the right amount, making sure we had everything we needed without ever hovering. Everything you hope for in great service? She was that and more. Go Alyssa!!

As for the food—WOW. We started with the BBQ Nachos, which were loaded with flavor and a perfect way to kick things off. Then came the 2 Meat Platter with sliced brisket and pulled pork, paired with creamy mac & cheese and flavorful collard greens. We also tried the Mickey Sandwich and their signature cornbread, and let me tell you—every single bite was delicious. The meat was tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned, and the sides had that down-home, cooked-with-love taste you dream about.

We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. We’ll definitely be recommending Bad Brads BBQ—especially this location—to everyone we know. And when we come back, we’ll be asking for Alyssa again. She made an already great meal into an amazing experience. I’ll start with the service and atmosphere. Special shout out to Lauren, Matt, Kelly and Sam and the dude with the fluffy blonde hair when you first walk in and the girl with the butterfly necklace i think it was that said my dress was pretty hehe Thank you! Thank you to Kelly who while getting me water she offered me on a hot day (thank u)called me a beautiful Nubian Queen who is equally a beautiful Queen herself!! I would like to give a shout out to all the staff and there was a dude that came out today with a lil ponytail bun kinda has a hipster vibe and he just showed love too. I went there for the the first time Saturday and when I tell you from my first experience walking into a restaurant in New Baltimore (which was not inviting) this place was so different , Man I felt the love it was so inviting!The people here may God bless you all! Lauren took her time with my order and helped me out so much and the guy up front not only him but other people were so willing and happy to show me where the carry out was and he was all smiles and giggles which is my personality hehe. It was just such a fun experience and Matt (my Irish kinsman hehe😉)even remembered me today he was like Mimi . That’s so awesome! Wow we were really excited after hearing so much about Bad Brad's BBQ that we figured on Memorial day since we had a little time would give the place a try needless to say we were very excited after hearing so much about the great barbecue. We ordered a half slab of ribs and some of their Bad Brad's beans and cornbread. Let me tell you the beans and the cornbread were delicious. Unfortunately the ribs were absolutely the driest unedible ribs I have ever had. I understand dry-rubbed ribs I've been eating ribs for 47 years never have I had ribs so dry overcooked on the ends totally unedible I would have to say after this experience I would never return to Bad Bad Brad's BBQ he wrapped it up in the first part of his name very bad unfortunately I hate to give one star reviews but after I brought this to the attention of the waitress she offered me and a quarter slab why would I want more of something I can't even eat they were absolutely terrible not looking for freebies. I've had ribs from New York City all the way across the country to San Diego California never did I have dry unedible ribs like this I'm sorry for this review but I feel it's absolutely necessary to prevent anybody from making that same mistake.
