Recently I enjoyed the grilled chicken sandwich & my mom ordered the Reuben. We both were glad we ordered the seasonal fresh vegetables instead of the fries .. which was a squash and carrots. The vegetables were still on the slightly crisp side and we ate them all! Both sandwiches were plenty of food for lunch so we both ended up with an extra 1/2 sandwich for later! Also nice surprise... weekday winter and it was "happy hour" all afternoon, even for lunch! Have really loved the Wedge Salad - and the chicken tenders are fabulous. Would definitely recommend as they were also recommended to me by a friend! Prices are very reasonable and we had plenty to eat. On a nice day we started off with cocktails outside on the upper 2nd level deck to enjoy the view, shade, and cool lake breeze. We then proceeded down to the first floor where my husband enjoyed a special of the day - Snapper Piccata which he found very filling with a very good size portion and good price. I loved the deep fried firm shrimp which was lightly battered and crispy and was steaming hot when it arrived at the table. We always enjoy Fin’s fresh salads which comes with dinner - served in a chilled steel bowl! If you don’t like a lot of dressing (the blue cheese was awesome), then ask for it on the side as it comes “dressed.” Beautiful intimate environment and nice new bar on the first floor with great chairs!

We went here for an early dinner and happy hour. We were seated quickly and able to sit at a window table looking at the lake. The view was nice. We each ordered a cocktail, the drinks had a decent pour, I had a mistletoe margarita, and it was okay. We had an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip, and it was phenomenal. The bread slices were perfectly crisp and went very well with dip. I ordered the whitefish, it was cooked well and slightly crispy, and had good seasoning with the breading. The lemon sauce was delicious, but there was not enough. It was a very small drizzle. I did find a few pin bones in the fish, but I think that is to be expected when you have fresh fish. The green beans were very fresh and could benefit from a little more seasoning. My husband ordered the blackened salmon, and it was also cooked well. It could have used more of the blackened seasoning, but overall, it was good. The fries were great. The salads were fresh, maybe add sprinkle of cheese, I enjoyed the dressings. I had valdea. This was a sweeter dressing, and it was good . My husband had the ranch it's a thin ranch and had a good flavor. Our server was okay, not overly friendly but she was prompt and checked on us frequently. The restaurant was clean, and so was the bathroom. We definitely will return to try something else on the menu.

Wonderful experience. Across the street is the farmers market on Sunday. Food is Excellent. Had the Oysters on the half shell. Large and fresh. The spinach artichoke dip is cheese Heaven! Toasted bread goes well and will fill you up. Ask for the zip sauce! Great addition side to dip your bread in. My son loved the bread with the spinach, artichoke dip. I took a Caesar wrap to go home. Chicken had a lot of flavor. Asked for the dressing on the side. Crunchy romaine and thick savor Caesar dressing. Highly recommend checking this place out. It’s worth the drive. Loved the atmosphere and the decor. I’ll be back to check out the upstairs. The staff is Phenomenal. Gave recommendations, knew the menu, fast & friendly. See Nikki at the bar. She did a wonderful job serving me and my son. Extremely knowledgeable & happy we went with her recommendations. Update - 6/1/25 Back for brunch. Food taste great, but they need to bring back the lunch options. The sausage gravy needed more spices. Majorly lacking pepper. I was very disappointed in the menu. Very few options. I couldn’t get a chicken Caesar pita. That’s what I really wanted!! Brunch is from 10 am - 1 pm. Bring back the full menu!!

This place has good food but the staff is so rude. Usually eat there once a month with a group of 6-8. They put tables together for us. One of my past visits the table I sat at had not been wiped, I asked the waitress if I could have a cloth to clean it. She indignently came over, wiped the table and announced to the table that I should be worrying about what I'm going to order, not that the table is dirty. Yesterday our group of 6 entered the restaurant just after 1pm. there were 2 people that were leaving and 1 waitress talking to them who refused to acknowledge our presence. They left and we were the only people present. We waited patiently for acknowledgement. A young lady, long brown and blond hair came from the back, did not ask if she could help us. I asked if she was the hostess. No, she responded, I'm the "manager". I let her know we had a party of 8. She setup for a party of 6? Fortunately i miss counted. I asked the "manager" what the soup of the day was, she responded the waitress would answer that. The waitress (that would not acknowledge our presence), Missy W, eventually found her way to our table and took our order-nothing complicated. Then 3 more tables came in, parties of 5, 4 ,2. As we sat and waited for our food the party of 5 and 4 were served. We had not seen our waitress for a while or the "manager", so someone in our group stopped the one waitress on the floor and commented about other people being served. She was also rude, said we came in after, we corrected her and then she walked away as our meals came out of the kitchen. We finished our meal. Waitress came over, cleared away the dishes and disappeared. We waited for her to bring the bills, nothing for quite a while. Someone in our party asked loudly if we could get our bill. The "manager" turned and looked at us, said nothing and continued her conversation with the man at the bar. I am a woman, i am a 20%+ tipper and for the 2nd time in my life I left no tip. This is a small business and I highly recommend that the owner find new employees. To bad, it's a nice place otherwise. Can't wait for the new restaurant to open across the street. Won't be returning unless I hear a friendly staff...

Order a ruben, I was given a corned beef sandwich with sourkraut, missing dressing and cheese. It was still good however.

I ordered for carry out, I tried ordering online, but it said I needed to sign up with an account, after taking this time, and trying to add to my order it said that I couldn't order online and to call the restaurant. i called the restaurant, and asked if I could order carry out, she said she would check, then took some beer orders, and someone else's food order, spoke with someone else if they were taking carryout orders, and explained that she didn't know because she was yelled at about taking carry out orders, came back to the phone, took my order of "Ruben, fries" no changes or substitutions, I then asked if I could have the fries in a separate box. She said she would write a note for this, but would most likely get yelled at for it. I only asked because I was limited on carrying space for a single large container.

Once I got there, took five minutes for someone to tell me where to go for my pick up since there was no one at the hostess stand. Once they showed up, I was told to go to the bar.

Trying to get there, it's like a mosh pit, the only difference is there are chairs and people sitting. There's nowhere to walk, I don't even know how the servers get through. They kept bumping into everyone.

Once I got my food, and got home, and realized there was no dressing or cheese on the Ruben that i ordered, but the fries were in their own box. I figured that calling there would just cause a hassle, and waste more of my time than it was worth, I won't be back.

TL; DR Ruben doesn't come with cheese or dressing (even though the menu says it is included), very crowded, not worth complaining about or coming back. I wouldn't recommend anything except on a non-descript Wednesday at 3pm where you might not...

Decided on Fin's for dinner last evening. My Husband had French Onion soup, steak , baked potato & caesar salad. I ordered chicken tortilla soup, house salad, ribs & baked potato. My Husband's meal was fine, his only note was French Onion soup was good, spot on with flavor, but there was something that added a grainy texture to the soup, outside of that, great soup. My soup arrived, overly salty. I've had tortilla soup before and have made it, some of the ingredients can send it over that edge if one isn't careful. I didn't say anything, it happens. I ordered the ribs because the description on the menu said " famous, fall off the bone" . sadly, this was not the case. Presentation was great, couldn't wait to dig in...tough as nails. I had to saw to get the end bone off, saw to get meat off..sauce was great, ribs were chewy and tough. At 18.99 for a half slab, I had to send back.I was soo disappointed. Waitress said even the cook was surprised at how tough they were when they went back. Must not have been the same cook/chef that let them leave the kitchen? Of course waitress offered a different entree but at that point, my Husband was into his meal. Dinner portion of date night, didn't go well. Also, my drink was refilled after ribs went back, but not my Husband's and he was the one with food to eat and nothing to wash it down with.Maybe just an off night there. I do like the vibe of the place but bad dining experience last night. I wouldn't write the place off as a do not return, but would give something else a try instead. Great views, staff...
