David's Restaurant — Restaurant in New Bedford

--------FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 7th At 7:00pm The stocky short waitress/manager she said was an absolute ignore rude --tch to me and company.. We have been to this restaurant a few times and after this we will never go back...... We have ordered a particular meal on occasion a few different times... Well this time we were told that they I didn't offer the Portuguese steak however if we paid extra we wanted filet mignon along with scallops and shrimp like we have gotten before more than once.. She lied to us so I got up and I went over to the hostess and talked with the hostess which said that yes we can order whatever you wanted we just have to pay extra which we already knew.. Well let me tell you what that was the wrong thing to do. When this waitress / manager came back to our table to bring our food our food look like it went through a hurricane it was all mixed up all over the plate because somebody deliberately did that to both plates.. I asked her about it and she says that's just how we serve it which is not true because we have been a customer many times.. This review it's not going to matter because the owner doesn't care. It's Friday night it was at 7:00 p.m. on September 7th This woman doesn't belong working in the public with any type of people with the type of attitude she had towards us with what she said and also how she brought the plates out with a total mess which was done on purpose. Had the worst experience with this restaurant ordered on DD and had the worst encounter I have ever had with a nasty employee. I was missing two items from my delivery order so I called the store and explained my situation. The women I spoke with over the phone was rude and passive aggressive the whole conversation. she constantly cut me off before I could finish speaking and asking questions. she made snarky remarks about not having information and about picking up the missing items and gave rude and snarky replies to my questions. People like this SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. She spoke to me like if I was bothering her even though I was the paying customer who was missing items from my order because of carelessness from Davids Restaurant staff. Because of this nasty employee the whole restaurant has a bad look. Davids has lost a paying customer in me and because of that experience I had with the employee over the phone today at 4pm I will never give this Restaurant my business and will be sure to let my family and friends know to...

I was looking for a restaurant where I could take my mom for her birthday lunch. We decided to try David's restaurant. On arrival, the place was completely dead. That should have been the first sign. My mom ordered Chicken Madeira, which was tasteless, and circle fries that were burnt to a crisp. I spoke up, and they offered regular fries, which were worse. The oil was old, and the fries smelled like old cooking oil. I had ordered a steak sandwich, which was extremely small, and I had asked for the sandwich without pepper, but it still was spicy and hot. The onions that were on it clearly were together at some point. Our waitress was not very attentive. I wouldn't bother with this place. I would have literally had a better meal at Wendys. The worst $50 dinner I've had...
