Friendly Donuts — Restaurant in New Bedford

Amazing! And friendly!

Got 4 donuts (variety of cake and raised) and saw they had some breakfast wraps too. I asked if they had breakfast sandwiches and the woman helping me said no, but she could make me one. I asked what they had and she said 2 words that I didn’t know (I’m not from around here) which I now realize are caçoila and linguica. I’m always excited to try something I’ve never had so I randomly picked the first one. She got out a full size roll and filled it with the most delicious marinated shredded beef I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Certainly the best breakfast sandwich. I live 500 miles away and know no one in the area but I am seriously thinking about coming back just to get another one. Donuts were good too. I saw they have malasadas which are different from the Hawaiian ones I’m familiar with (the ones around here are flat sweet dough sort of shaped like a bialy and fried then covered with sugar, no filling). I had too many other things so I passed. Next time!

Every time I step foot inside it’s a very welcoming environment. The variety of pastries/food is incredible. Prices? Even better. The pastries are extremely delicious! As a returning customer it’s always been a pleasure every single visit. I recommended their coffee rolls as they are almost 6inches wide and super fluffy. Despite the bad reviews businesses need to do what they have to do to keep them afloat. Customers don’t make those orders through the shipping companies. Sometimes it’s the baking flour that is super expensive and god forbid they raise the donuts .50¢. I believe they are MORE than reasonably priced. I love the staff, they are so welcoming. Nonetheless this is a very good place to grab something quick. I love you...

The donuts 🍩 were good but the attitude of the lady who attended us was horrible it was the first time we decided to try the donuts but the disappointment is bigger I would not recommend this place the lady was very rude she threw one of the donuts in the box only because at the beginning we had ordered 4 and then I told her that I would take the 6 donuts apparently that bothered her, I feel that if they want the place to be great they should not have people who are not friendly in the place, the store is called friendly but the employee is not...
