Everything about Hallowed Grounds is what you would expect from a small family-owned coffee shop. As soon as you walk in the aroma of fresh coffee hits you and you instantly feel welcomed. They have a large selection of teas and coffees to choose from. Teas range from loose-leaf to bagged and there are so many flavors to choose from. Then you see the coffee selection and it makes it hard to choose just one or two. If you walk in and can't find something you like then you weren't looking. If you do have trouble finding something their staff is extremely knowledgeable and can help direct you to what they think will suit your caffeine needs. Also don't forget to check out their selection of homemade peanut butter and baked goods (the brownies and cookies are amazing but you can't go wrong with any of them). If you're worried about price I can attest that you can spend less here than you would at some franchises and you will get more taste out of your coffee. You can look to spend about $3 on a refill. When I am in New Brighton I always make it a point to stop in and will...
Read moreSure, ppl are entitled to their opinions & no biz is flawless...but I'd have to look really hard to find a fault with this one...if their store size was bigger, it would just mean even more selection, but the location is in Beaver County so the store size makes sense...I do wish there were more locations, though! I've been buying my coffee & tea there for over 10 years & I have yet to be disappointed! Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is my favorite still to this day...& I've tried them all! I think I've had ( literally) every coffee in the world, including Kopi Luwak! The only coffee I had never had ( as far as I know) is Australian Skyberry. I have recommended Hallowed Grounds to numerous people & have even shipped it to other states. As far as I'm concerned, they are the best...& good down- to- earth people too! I think my opinion carries alot of weight, being the true connesuer that I am. God Bless this biz for decades to come! And, no, I ain't no damn " local guide"...whatever the...
Read moreI am so glad I stumbled across this cute little local coffee shop when I was finding a place to live in this area because my husband and I now drink their coffee every morning. As soon as you walk in, you get hit in the face with the most intense, wonderful smell. Their coffee is absolutely amazing, rich and flavorful! They sell drinks/snacks/baked goods as well as whole or ground coffee beans. There are so many kinds as well as loose leaf teas. We've tried every kind of flavored coffee beans they have and we haven't been disappointed once. They roast and grind it all in house so it's crazy fresh. Their website even makes ordering easy. You can place orders for pickup or shipping. I've never had any issues with staff. Always friendly and helpful and the prices are a steal for the quality. The Almond Amaretto and Irish Cream are our 2 favorites and the Pumpkin Torte when available! I...
