Let me preface this review with some information. I work nearby, I eat out for lunch 97% of the time. Yes, I know it's bad for you blah blah blah.... With that being said, I would say that on average I come to this sorry excuse of a McDonalds about 8 times a month. My coworker also makes bad life choices and frequents this establishment as well. We share countless stories of rude staff members, inattentive cashiers and subpar food on a regular basis. Why do we still come you might ask? Because there is the CHANCE that my lopsided, slightly melting ice cream cone nails that sweet tooth craving. There is the CHANCE that my "golden fries" are actually golden this time versus the all too common brownish hue and soggy from grease. We still visit for the chance of getting the quality of what McDonalds is known for-good food, good people and great service. Sadly, this establishment does not uphold any of those virtues. This particular McDonald's severely lacks in basic customer service skills. Now, I HAVE to believe there are some good employees working here-right? Management, do yourself a favor and make the good employees the face of your company! Your currently have sloppy, poor attitudes, and the "I hate my life" vibe portraying your brand. The only thing you're actually consistent on, is the lack of care in the services you provide. I am writing today to inform you that I will no longer visit this location. I will happily go elsewhere where customer service and respect reign supreme. I suppose in order to provide customer service, you should probably start off with providing the "service" aspect of your job. Yes, simple service. Then maybe, I wouldn't have to sit in lane 2 while watching 3 cars go through lane 1 and order their food (on my screen, might I add!) All the while, I'm being completely ignored and I don't even get the opportunity to place an order, even after respectfully saying hello, I still got no response from your staff. I understand if this was a one off issue but I've witnessed this exact same scenario happen 3 times now in the past 2 weeks alone! So now, I bid adieu, New Brighton McDonalds, you really excel at winning your customer's loyalty! (Sarcasm, in case you misunderstood that too)
P.S. your "now hiring" sign has "New Brighton" spelled wrong on it. It's New BrighTON not New BrighTEN. Yet another testament to the quality given of...
Read moreApparently, not mentioning "with fries" when ordering a $3 menu double cheeseburger with fries (as says in the menu) can create such conflict. I had to pay extra for a side of fries, because they refused to complete the order. What's the deal then? Testing and blaming you, as a customer, for not saying the whole name of your order as it is in the menu? Isn't it like the employee's job also to make sure your order is the way you want it? God forbid you dare asking if there was a mistake, because you'll end up dealing with a rude employee, like Lia (I was told that's her name). Has that happened to anyone else at this McDonald's? Honestly, I didn't want to make it worse and call for the manager and so, because I only wanted to enjoy my visit. But it was that employee's (Lia) really bad attitude that made me as uncomfortable as to write here. She kept confronting me and saying that I should have said "with fries" to get it just like it is on the menu. So it is the costumer's fault now? When did it become like this? I'm just really curious of what McDonald's opion is about that. Any...
Read moreI ordered a Tomato Grilled Chicken sandwich combo on drive-thru with a diet coke. I asked to have my sandwich cut in half. I had to repeat that at least 10 times. When I had enough, I pulled over to the first window and asked again to cut my chicken sandwich in half so that girl typed it in and I paid. When I got to the second window I asked if they cut the sandwich in half as I asked and the reply was “ We don’t do that! We don’t have a knife”.... I didn’t say a word, just left! The first thing I noticed that my drink was a regular coke instead of diet. I stopped in the parking lot to look at my order. The sandwich looked fine, but it was fried chicken and not grilled. When I reached to get some french fries I pulled out a black hair with it from the box. After that I wasn’t hungry anymore. How much more can go wrong with one simple order??? I didn’t go back and I never will!!! Oh...and I was going to do the survey from the receipt, but the receipt was unreadable. They were half out of ink, it showed only half of the numbers and letters. This was the worst $10 I...
