I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Hachi, and I must say it left a lasting impression. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the great atmosphere and the overall cleanliness of the place. The restaurant's interior had a nice, modern design that added to the overall dining experience.

I started with the Miso Soup, which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. However, things took a delightful turn when I tried the New Zealand Baked Mussels. They were simply amazing, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor.

The real star of the meal was the Hot Stone Ishi Yaki, a must-try dish. It arrived sizzling and allowed us to cook our own meat right at the table. The experience was not only fun but also delicious.

Next up, I tried the Aromatic Duck Roll, and it was incredibly delicious. The flavors were rich, and the presentation was on point. Another highlight was the Hachikaze Roll, which was out of this world. The Spicy Salmon and Philadelphia Roll were also exceptional.

Unfortunately, the Tuna Sampler didn't live up to the same level of excellence as the other dishes; it was rather ordinary.

Throughout the meal, our waiter, Ken, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive, friendly, and added to the overall positive experience. His recommendations were spot on, and his service was top-notch.

In conclusion, my dining experience at Hachi was truly enjoyable. The combination of a great atmosphere, delicious food (especially the Baked Mussels and Hachikaze Roll), and excellent service from Ken made it a memorable evening. I would highly recommend giving Hachi a try for anyone looking for a delightful Japanese...

We heard good things about this Japanese Fusion restaurant and made our way to Chalfont for a visit. While I typically don’t prefer restaurants in strip malls, stepping inside Hachi transports one to a hip modern Asian restaurant with an ambiance that you may find in New York rather than a local mall. The decor is bright and welcoming. There is a long sushi bar with at least a half dozen sushi chefs creating the most spectacular and creative dishes as well as traditional favorites.

The first thing I noticed is that the menu goes on seemingly forever with 13 pages of delicious temptations of unique options. I noticed Sea Urchin on the menu and since this is a delicacy I rarely see, I ordered this. It’s difficult to describe the flavor of this to someone who has never tried it, but it’s a bit of a combination of briny oyster and sweet foie gras. From the many Specialty Roll options, I did eventually pick the Sake Lobster Roll, a tempura lobster roll with smoked salmon, avacado, and fish roe. A combination of some of my favorite items both savory and sweet and crunchy at the same time. My wife got the traditional crab tempura roll.

For the main I got the Crispy Icelandic Flounder served with Thai Chile, Pineapple , and a Sweet Sour Mango Sauce. My wife got the New York Strip Teriyaki. We both enjoyed our entrees but the next time we go back, we’ll do an entire meal of sushi as there were so many other items I’d love to try. For dessert we shared the mochi, an ice cream in a rice flour wrap. The restaurant was BYOB which helps keep the cost down. A unique and delicious experience. We will...

Mixed Feelings About Our Dining Experience at Hachi

My wife and I were excited about our dinner at Hachi, one of our favorite sushi restaurants, but our overall experience left us with mixed feelings.

When we called to reserve, we opted for an 8:30 PM reservation. However, upon our arrival at the scheduled time, we were promptly informed that the restaurant would be closing at 9 PM. This immediately set the tone for our evening.

As we sat down, the hurried atmosphere became apparent. The wait staff seemed eager to rush our dining experience. We felt pressured to place our entire order quickly, and to our surprise, the food arrived promptly, almost all at once – appetizers, entrees, and everything in between. The pace left us feeling rushed, and before we knew it, the check was presented without us even requesting it.

Despite our enjoyment of the food, the overall hurried nature of the evening left us dissatisfied. We believe that a late reservation should not have been offered so close to closing time, as the staff did not have the time to provide the regular and enjoyable dining experience we were anticipating.

In summary, while the cuisine at Hachi was delightful, the rushed service impacted our overall satisfaction with the dining experience. We hope that future patrons are provided with a more leisurely and enjoyable atmosphere, especially when reservations are offered so close to...

Oh my goodness, def the best sushi Ive had in the area, and their non-sushi just is as delicious. Now I’m real picky, with Sushi especially considering it’s raw fish, but the chefs here clearly know what they’re doing. Every roll has been magnificently crafted; structurally sound (clearly theyre proper sushi chefs), delicious and unique ingredients, and a thoughtful, pretty presentation. Had to get the Tuna Avocado Toast both times, was too good. Had some beef/pork dishes as well and we were honestly blown away at how good they were. The 48-hour Pork Belly with the sweet corn congee was divine! We live an hour away but have been there twice now lol. Service is very friendly and attentive, menu is large but not overwhelming, and the space is both clean and well decorated. BYOB and there’s a liquor store in the same shopping center. Also to note, we came later in the night both times; as you might tell from the glowing review, there was no drop in quality at all for going so late. Additionally, the place is really reasonably priced compared to any “fancy” Sushi place Ive been to, yet managed to blow all those places away in taste. This is the restaurant I’ve been searching for, and I don’t even have to deal with Philly for it. Wonderful, will be back.
