If you’re looking for a great family restaurant with amazing service, I highly recommend Costa Chica. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The waitresses here are exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and making sure you have everything you need without feeling rushed.
One of the things that really sets this place apart is the owners. Unlike some restaurants where the owners act like they’re too important to acknowledge customers, here, they are humble, hardworking, and treat everyone with respect. You’ll often see them serving just like any other employee, which speaks volumes about their commitment to the business and their customers.
The food is delicious and authentic, perfect for a casual dinner or even a date night. I highly recommend trying the Nachos de Asada—they are packed with flavor and always fresh. And if you’re in the mood for a refreshing drink, their Chamoyadas are a must-try!
And if you’re lucky, you might catch one of their live Mexican music nights, featuring talented local musicians that create an amazing, lively atmosphere.
Whether you’re craving great food, excellent service, or just a place that feels welcoming, Costa Chica is definitely...
Read moreI am from California where there are more Mexican restaurants than Caucasians. I am also a foodie and a cook. I am serious about my burritos and I seek them out. I just moved to the area so needed to find my new favorite place.
I found Costa Chica by wandering around the neighborhood.
I sat down and they brought me chips and two hot sauces - one red, one green. They seemed house made, and those can make or break my experience. They were both respectable and decently hot - nice.
I ordered the steak burrito. I prefer the kind where all the ingredients are wrapped up and you can eat it it with your hands, but this was the plated version with half the ingredients on top. The burrito was good sized - not humongous, but big enough to really fill me up. It had all the right stuff - grilled meat, rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, chopped tomatoes, peppers and onions and cheese. They used black beans, which was a surprise. I actually prefer pintos, but it's not a deal breaker for me. It was quite tasty.
But the most amazing part was the price - $5.50. Total. That...
Read moreIf I could give it 0 🌟 I would. This place has no a.c. they act like you're invisible !! They gave us chips and salsa and didnt even offer us drinks until I went to the counter to ask for drinks. We were dining in. The food was AWEFUL .... I got a spoon fulls... Table spoon fulls of rice along with my dinner plate. The fruit drinks were AWEFUL and just the mere fact that the waitress acted like we werent even there was horrible!! I'm always a fantastic tipper bc I was a waitress so I get it. The place had 2 people seated the whole time we were there. And i guess bc im a girl and I went with my boyfriend that she didn't think I was paying ... Well that's the first time ever in my life that I didn't leave 1 cent to that server. Complete trash. I wouldn't think about returning to that place if it were the only place to buy food and I was starving to death . I ordered the grilled chicken and they boiled it then just threw it on the grill to get a color to it. Just a horrible experience. Sorry...
