Surgical team seemed good, ER pretty responsive. Once I got to Med Surge 4 West, treatment was awful. No communication among doctors, nurses. I had emergency gallbladder removed which was significant because it was about to rupture.

I am also high risk for drug resistant infections, have Lupus and am fall risk from tachycardia. Nurses told me not to get up but when I hit my call button they kept turning it off. I heard them complain several times that they were short staffed and patients will just have to wait.

No one explained aftercare as most of the nurses information conflicted with the doctor.

They discontinued my home meds several times by mistake and one is a blood pressure medication. I was left several times to clean myself off immediately post open because they wouldn't even respond to coming in to assist with toileting.

I was discharged without the any meds although they assured us that everything was in the system. When we tried calling back no one returned the call. I was also supposed to meet with a case manager to ser me up with home care but no one came.

First I’d like to say that these nurses deserve better contracts. We came in on Monday for my sons surgery, we understand procedures are not always on time. If we can just suggest maybe keeping the tv on in the waiting room for children and maybe considering having a door because our 19 month old was very hungry and waiting around longer than expecte, and tried escaping many times. We tried our best to distract and entertain. It was rough for us (not the hospitals problem) but just wanted to put it out there for parents, ur going to have to pack for the waiting room. Once we went upstairs the children had bubbles and toy cars, it was very cute! The staff is great! The drs and nurses and techs were great! Mike the tech, thank you you! Courtney is so sweet and came down with toys to keep our son entertained, it was very generous! Theresa is incredible! She wasn’t an on sight nurse, she came in from Louisiana and was an angel to us! When I son woke from recovery, it was so hard to see him just getting out of anesthesia, he was so confused and Theresa didn’t leave our side until he settled down. Thank you!...

This is the most terrible I have ever been too. The love of my life had a motorcycle accident & was brought to this hospital. They did not take him into surgery for his head injury. They did not clean the blood that was on him. The staff mistreated the whole family. They validate every law & every right. At the end of it, they pulled the plug on him while his heart was still beating. They misdiagnosed him as well. He was only 23 years old & still had many years left in him.
