We were here for the Vipul Goyla show (Indian Standup comedian) in June 2024. It is right in the downtown of New Brunswick and easy to reach, it reminds me of the district of any big city. There are a couple of more theaters nearby.
It was not a big auditorium, we were in an auditorium (James M. Cahill Stage), with a capacity of app 500 folks. The show started on time, with no interruptions, Show went well and, after that, we got a chance to take a photo with Vipul Goyal- that was unexpected.
The sound was perfectly balanced and good, with no issues in lighting- that's up to the Showrunners. Even seat arrangments, and view of the stage- it was good. A small bar and snack counter are there and enough restrooms- so it's all there . After the show, there were many restaurants nearby so no hassling in finding good restaurants as well.. we tried chai chenak, and it was good.
Parking: either street side or cheap parking is available in parking garages. (attaching photo of parking rates of ‘Morris Street Parking garage’)
It houses two state-of-the-art theater venues and three dedicated...
Read moreA beautiful, intimate space in the NBPAC. I went to see my friends kill it in Having Our Say. A wonderful performance. The one thing I will make note of is that I could hear the performance of another show happening in the other theater in the Center. There are 3 theaters in this center, at least on the level I was on. Don't know if there were any more. The soundproofing wasn't that great. The show I went to see was intimate and quiet compared to the rock and roll revival of some sort going on in the next space, so the sound bled into the theater I was in. That may be something that is taken into more consideration when programming shows in this space. It pulled audience members out of the experience. I was drawn back into the performances by the consummate professionals on stage, but I'm sure they had to work harder to stay in it as they had unintentional competition to...

Through the medium of movement, music, song etc. the artistry of a jazz capella group, that uses rhythms, skats, vocalizations, to bring insight, joy, release of emotions, humor, understanding and reflections about the state of the conditions in the USA. It also has a glimpse of hope, light and action. It ends with non- threatening, delightful audience participation in a song about peace. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it to others. This showing goes...
