We were lucky enough to stumble onto this place while attending a lacrosse game at Rutgers. I had my 3 kids and another couple and their 2 children. We came during the day and walked right in. There is no inside seating. Luckily it was a nice day and we sat outside at the 4 VERY small tables.

While ordering, looking around, you could tell right away this place is for real. They only have about 8 things on the menu but I'm now sure that everything is tremendous. Hotdogs, burgers, fries, onion rings...nice and simple.

My son had the bacon portobello burger. My wife and daughter and other son got the standard, which was anything but standard. I got the holypeño burger which was cooked to perfection with a perfect char, onions, jalapeños, cheese. We also got 3 orders of the hand cut fries which were amazing. The cheese with gravy fries however, were really soggy. (The only thing that wasn't top notch ). Our entire bill including bottled water was 53$.

The staff was super friendly and you can watch them cook everything right in front of you. He warned me that late night it gets overwhelmed by the drunk college crowd. My advise is to hit this spot early and often. You can also order online for quick pickup.

When I read the reviews, I rolled my eyes at the "best burger ever" talk, but I heard that very thing out of several of our mouths.

If I am ever back down in Piscataway this is...

I first ordered thru ubereats and loved the impossible veggie option. The burger was very good. Also had the fried oreos. First time. So this second time around, decided to order IN person. Big mistake. Their door is ridiculously heavy, I thought it was locked, and so I kept knocking and dude at the register wasnt trying to BUDGE from his spot to come open the door. No chilvary AT all! Completely rude and could've lost a customer if I walked away. That just turned me all the way off. And knowing how everyone's a super germophone now a days as far as the virus, vaccinated or not-- all establishments have the sign on pen or at least sanitizer by the register. They have NOTHING at the counter and you can clearly see all the smudges, dust and filth on the screen of the card/register machine which means he or they do NOT wipe it down as hygienicly necessary throughout the day. Disgusting ! I'll go back to ordering at home IF that. They're not the only burger place in town offering...

Sorry guys don't know why it took us so long to write this review. Wow the food here is sofa king good!!! I am a pretty hefty size guy that has eaten a few burgers in my day and my boss while I won't call him a food snob is a little particular about his burger even though he won't admit it. We both have decided that this is the best damn burger you will find. Now I know that is a matter of opinion so take it for what it is worth, but there is no way you walk away from this place and not tell your friends about how good it is. As if that was not good enough these guys go and make one of the best hot dogs I have ever had. Now I am a diehard Rutt's Hut fan but living closer to D & D easily satisfies my hot dog urges. Great hamburges, great hot dogs, great fixin's and the owner(s) are really kool and personable. Add that all up and ask yourself why you are still sitting here reading this review when you can be on your way to tasting some of the best meat you will ever put...

By far the best, most delicious burger shack in the USA. Highly recommend it. I prefer eating at Diesel n Duke than at shake shack, shnippers, Five Guys, smash burger, ANY day. I love it how they on the rise, adding more locations. They're going up there. Maybe it should be a $9 double patty burger instead of a 11+ dollar double patty burger. A small place for takeout, ordering it online. They need to add more ingredients and more burgers, maybe new buns as another option. But a great mouth watering burger.

THEY HAVE POUTINE. It's their own version of poutine but pretty good. Fries weren't as crispy as I expected though. The gravy is good, it's a lighter colored gravy (like pot pie) and not too heavy. Cheese curds are not squeeky like poutine in Canada, but they are smooth to chew and melt in your mouth and taste good enough. I really appreciated the generous amount of scallions in this poutine. For 5.99, I am glad that I can get something somewhat similar to poutine but also unique in NJ.

Wendy’s is better . When I walked in the place smelled like old used oil. I ordered the standard single burger and added onion ring and not great. I had to remove the onion rings they tasted like old oil. The poutine were alright . First time trying I probably won’t try again I’d rather go somewhere else. Let me add pricy for small portion.
