Posted up in the center of the pub. Me and these two mad lads started drilling. Ice was about 4 inches and ol' Stout was struggling to breach through the ice. After a few minutes of turmoil he was finally able to break and we heard the glorious rush of the water gushing like a foutian out of the portal to the dark unknown. We stood there conquistadors above a murky gold; fish. We set our thrones upon the ice and readied our rods. Our mouths watering at the thought of the first fish. With bait and hand a glee in our hearts we awaited the first bite. But folks, as everyone knows, fishing isn't about the catch nor the side of the fish. But it's the spot and the friends we make along the way. We caught no fish, not even ol' Stout. But we had a splendid time, and like the conquistadors of old we left with nothing. Oh yea and there's uhh ... darts in the back or something.

This bar is among the best value near campus and is tied for best overall bar near Rutgers with old queens. Where else can you get a long island ice tea for 3 when it's on special or shot and a beer for $5.....the key is to arrive around 10 Thursday thru Saturday to avoid the line.

Best place for youngsters. Most of the crowd comes from Rudgers university. Very active and attractive place.
