Another review for a Rutgers Pizzeria. This location is on Easton Avenue near Old Queens and the Scarlet Night Club. It's a tight little pizzeria with not much room for sitting in and eating. The slices remind me of frozen pizza I've eaten. The crust doesn't even seem like it should belong to a pizza. It's bready and like cardboard. The plain slice was totally unremarkable and lacked both flavor and sauce in general, practically. The chicken caesar slice only reminded me why I have never tried that combination before... IT DOESN'T WORK. The dressing tasted funny and I doubt I would have even enjoyed it on a salad. I couldn't even finish the slice. Clearly my fault for thinking this was a good idea. Overally, I'm honestly surprised this place is still in business considering the competition in New Brunswick. In conclusion, you can buy better pizza in the frozen isle at shopright.

Great place to get tasty vegan pizza late, a bit expensive to add toppings (was charged $4 extra to add mushrooms and onions) and wish there was a vegan fat sandwich option

Great service. Kind and attentive. We got the pepperoni and veggies, really good we like the crust. We also got the chicken bacon ranch but not my favorite

I honestly cant understand how this place has such a high rating? This was the worst pizza Ive had in a while. The pizza was dry with a rubbery dough vs a normal crisp oven toasted dough. It tasted like the whole thing was made in the microwave. Nothing about it was fresh and it tasted awful. I’m no cook but I would have been better off making it myself. This was my first time ordering from here and I definitely wont be back. I guess they can get away with serving this to college students that will eat anything but if you’re actually looking for decent pizza...

The pizza was nothing to write home about.

If i did write home...it would look something like this...

Dear Home;

Today I had pizza at R.U. Grill and Pizza.

It was not so great.

It was however very reasonably priced. It was about eleven bucks for four slices. That's very reasonable.

I would have paid up to $15 for slices that taste better.

So Home, if you ever run away from yourself. And go near Rutgers and want cheap pizza...if you go here....that is what you are going to get.

But home...please don't run away from home..because I'll have...
