La Placita Mexicana 2 — Restaurant in New Brunswick

I been here couple a times in the past and liked this place. And me and friends was in town and decided stop here for dinner. We order Taco al pastor combos which come with rice beans, then we order mole tamales,, orchata drinks and sopes. And while we waiting for our order they serve us nachos and there spicy green and red salsa. finally she brought our food. We started eating after few bites my friend was complaining it’s salty. Then I said yes agree my tamales taste old and dried, tacos not the same, orchata drink watery nasty and the nachos chips was salty. They never came to check on our table only to bring the check. Then when she finally came to our table. I asked are you guys new owner and she said no we been here for 5 years and grab some dishes and walked away didn’t even ask how is everything or how was the food, do you need anything. We said among ourselves she is rude. We decided to ask cause she didn’t look familiar to us. I just thought maybe they hired a new waitress. We talked among ourselves and said the food quality here is not the same, taste old dried and service not the same. The place looks dirty and empty. We was there for one hour and the only customer. They was not busy 🤔 we just paid and left, didn’t enjoy our meal left some food on the plates. I will not recommend this place and will not be returning....

I came to RWJ for a class and during lunch I stopped here. Two days in a row. I had just cheese tacos since I do not eat meat and thought it would just be cheese on a tortilla that would come out. But oh my they gave me cheese, with pico de gallo, avocado, green sauce on the side as well as pickled onions and some red salsa. One word to describe it was “amazinggggggg”. The tacos taste great. E ido a comer aqui antes y no a estado la comida mal antes .el lugar se ve bien .pero mi ultima experiencia fue mala, ordenamos una picaditas un platillo no recuerdo el nombre .y unos chilaquiles la comida el sabor no es el mejor pero esta bien. Pero con una comida ..al probar el frijol esta echado a perder ..y por obvio las picaditas tienen ese mismo frijol. . El platillo el arroz no tenia sabor .bueno so ya no comimos a gusto me quedo un mal sabor de boca le dije al mesero el muy amable y le dice ala dueña pero pues ella me dijo q era q no tenia sal y q por eso estaba insipido ..yo no quise alegar el asunto aunque yo sabia q eso estaba dañado..no comimos casi nada ..bueno al estarnos retirando . si ya se dieron cuenta la señora se disculpo..y q gracias por dejarle saber .pero no tuvimos ningun rembolso ...solo nos quedamos...
