I’m new to new castle and I was excited to try out this locally owned ice cream shop and hopefully establish a multi week trip with my wife and girls. When I arrived the open sign was off even though Google says they close at 9. There was multiple cars parked in front of it so I wrapped around the building to find parking. There is a lower portion that resembled parking without lines, as I was attempting to park I had multiple people staring at me from the porch like I was crazy to park there. I love the Italian sodas and my favorite gelato flavors so far are vanilla and mango. This is my go-to hide-away spot on Sunday afternoons. It's relaxing and quiet, great for daydreaming or reading a book while enjoying a refreshing Italian soda or a creamy gelato on the porch. I walk here, but there is plenty of parking space available for those who drive. The service is excellent by the way; be sure to tip your server; Colin does a great job.
