⚠️ Beware of server named Kenise!
I hadn’t been to TGI Friday’s in so long. I logged into the app and even noticed it changed. I said to myself let me use my rewards before they start to expire. However, I regret dining in due to the inattentive server I had by the name of Kenise.
Even after SHOWING her the app she kept asking me for a code. I told her there is no code provided. As rewards members we are to provide our phone number to the server. I both READ AND SHOWED her from app that reads: “Dining in-restaurant? Provide your phone number and access all your rewards automatically, including your free chips and salsa or $3 off an app!!”
After receiving the water, chips, salsa, and entree I realized I hadn’t received my alcoholic beverage. She later came by and asked how are things only for me to have to ask for my drink she forgot at the bar.
I later asked for to-go boxes for the chips and salsa and entree yet she neglected to bring the solo cup with lid for the salsa. Later she asked if I wanted a bag. I had two boxes that would warrant a bag so they wouldn’t go flying in transport! I was packed and ready to go and just sat there waiting for my check as she passed me by to clear a nearby table and come ask me how are things as if I was still eating or something…
Told her I have rewards to use for a free entree and she’s like let me go ask my manager… is she new?
Before leaving she oddly asks me if I’d like a to-go cup? Was she for real?!?! All I had left was some water. She knew at that point her service sucked and she was trying to recover. Nice try Kenise - but too late.
And to add insult to injury… the salsa I received was expired. I know it’s free but COME ON! Although I only got a couple of dips/bites before my entree came out I sensed it was off but didn’t get a chance to address it.
I packaged it along with remainder of my entree and now next day definitely can confirm I was given bad salsa. It smelled and tasted off! What a complete waste.
I can confirm it was a different server (not Kenise) who brought out the chips & salsa. But don’t know who actually poured it in the back.
I completed a survey off of the receipt which asked if I’d like to be contacted. Stated it would be within 2-3 business days. I’ve yet to hear back.
Last but not least, Kenise attempted to double dip by charging the tip TWICE which I caught pending on my credit...
Read moreOn December 13, 2018, my family and I (party of 9) had the worst encounter ever! We arrived, were seated in a timely fashion but was there for 30-40 minutes before the waitress asked us what we wanted to drink. When we went to the manager and asked him if she could get some additional help, he was the most rude manager we had ever encountered. Now mind you majority of my family hadn't been here before. Me on the other hand, I have more than 500 Stripe points. Anyway, the manager on duty gave all of us a glass of water....never apologized for the delay....mumbled under his breath, I'm not doing this with y'all today.....When a family member asked him for a CUP OF SPRITE, his hasty response was MAKE UP YOUR MIND, DO YOU WANT COKE OR SPRITE? She repeated her order politely snd said, I would like a CUP of SPRITE. He repeated again, even more hastily and unprofessionally, YOU CAN ONLY GET ONE OR THE OTHER, COKE OR SPRITE!!!😡😡😡 I asked him if he was okay, he replied, There is nothing wrong with me, ARE YOU Okay? He went back to the bar and came back with a COKE that he almost spilled on her while slamming it on the table. At this point in time, we all started putting on our coats to leave as no one wanted to eat here anymore. Now yes, a party of 9 can be quite loud and obnoxious at time, but this particular party of 9 had just come from an emotional appointment and went to this TGI FRIDAYS to love one another and get through the rest of our evening. The manager on duty was rude, disrespectful and lacked a great deal of professionalism. My family left and while I waited to get information to notify corporate (who has YET to return my call from 12/14/2018) and I noticed the same manager talking to another customer (of his same complexion) rather nicely. It makes you wonder, did he not want to service us because of the color of our skin? Or was the number 9 too much for...
Read moreOne star is pretty generous after my experience. Last night I sat down at the bar for a bite to eat. There were 2 other people at the bar at the time. After I sat down, it was obvious that the bar top was dirty and needed to be wiped down for two-thirds of the length. I was asked if I could be helped. Ordered a beer and asked for a menu. I then ordered boneless wings and baked potato boats. Bartender was not busy and often disappeared. When my food arrived, still dirty bar top. Shortly afterwards, I asked for additional napkins. I then attempted to clean the bar top around me. My food was practically inedible. The boneless wings were hard as rocks and the potatoes apparently we're cooked so long or reheated that the skins literally crumbled when I attempted to cut them. I was never asked about my meal. Bartender eventually came over and I asked for my bill. It was already sitting in a glass in front of me which I was handed to. Really figured there was no reason to talk about my food as I couldn't wait to leave. I gave the bartender cash and nearly finished off my disgust when he asked me while standing at the register if I needed change! Really? Couldn't get out fast enough. As I was leaving, it appeared that a manager, a man with glasses was sitting at a table near the dirty empty bar totally oblivious to his surroundings. The worst experience in a restaurant I have had in probably 20 years. Pretty obvious as to why the place was empty at 7:30pm. Never will step foot in another TGIFridays. I'm not one to write bad reviews but I would hate to see people come in and waste their time and money in that establishment. If people lose their jobs from this, it's well...
