Weenee World — Restaurant in New Castle

My family stopped by here on the way home and got some milkshakes and hamburgers and onion rings and it was all very delicious my daughter enjoyed the strawberry milkshake very much one of the best milkshakes around.

We stop in here about once a week or so if we can. The strawberry milkshakes are as good as ever. The food is always great tasting and fresh tasting. I particularly love the mushroom and swiss hamburger and the breaded tenderloin sandwich. Recently I have been ordering the funnel cake fries and must admit that I am in love with those crisp soft sugary fries. I changed my rating from a 4 to 5 since there has not been 1 time in the past year when the food wasn't good. Everyone must try this place!

Update: 8/ 19/ 2022 Still amazing food and probably the best hands down strawberry shake in the entire state. I've never found anybody that can compare to the strawberry shakes you get here at weedy world. In fact, that would go so far to say it's not even a shake as much as it is. I think its just the biggest ice cream joint in town. But nothing special. The workers don't know how to do simple math. Wanted to give me 2 dollar change when I deserved 6. I told her they did the math wrong and she had to write it out on paper after failing to understand how to use the calculator she had right next to her... The manager that came to help couldn't do it either when she tried on paper and eventually just trusted me and gave me what I said I deserved.... both couldn't do a simple calculation. With the atmosphere and everything going on around you (noisey kids and extremely long lines) be careful you aren't distracted and make sure they count your change right. Abacus beads would be an improvement with this store. (Can you really not pull out your phone and use the calculator? But really go sit down and study some math flashcards).

On tip of that my banana split was all liquid. No ice cream. Good thing they don't have to flip it upside down or they'd go out of business. Drive an hour out of your way if you want ice cream that bad. Avoid weenie world...

I usually take the time to read reviews about a place first, but today I didn’t. I was passing through and was hungry and tired. I drove right past this place and it looked like it’d be quick. If I had read the reviews I would of ordered the tenderloin. Sadly, I ordered what sounded good at the time instead. I usually have a rule of thumb to always ask if the burgers are frozen, but I was tired and just ordered. Yuck. Their is nothing worse than a frozen patty. I ordered a sweet tea to go with it and the breaded pickles. The pickles were good; even had a nice little spiciness to them. The sweet tea not so much. It was extremely sweet, and I like my tea sweet. It also had a strange taste to it I didn’t care for.

In my opinion I would pass on this place unless you’re just stopping for ice cream. I didn’t get ice cream, but I noticed as I ate that people weren’t coming for the food they were coming for the ice cream. If this place was smart they’d take all of the food off of the menu except the tenderloin, which has good reviews,...
