Aldi has quality products at discount prices. They have fresh produce, meats, and cheeses along with frozen products. They have weekly deals for household appliances, baby accessories and clothes. You can buy a steak and a pan to cook it in! They also have a varied selection for dogs. They have food, treats and grooming products. There's also a section for toilet paper, paper towels, zip lock bags, aluminum foil, saran wrap, laundry detergent and fabric softener. My favorite thing about Aldi is their brand products, they all contain only natural food dyes and none of the other red 40,yellow 5 stuff. My daughter has a food dye intolerance and this is a tremendous help for shopping. Read moreI understand staying understaffed to "help keep cost of products minimal". I also comprehend buying our own grocery bags for cost control or as a "green Earth move". What I'm having trouble with is this: Aldi, if you stay understaffed in order to keep our prices low, why do you pay employees to collect and break down boxes (that are there for us to use instead of buying bags) but you fail to hire enough cashiers to avoid a line like this, before noon, on a Wednesday? I know there's others who avoid your store as well. Simply because of the time it takes to save a little money. We can replace money we've spent/lost..but we can never get back time we have spent/lost. Hopefully enough people speak up about the ridiculousness of the lines there & something is done about it. Ever considered self check out...

Had 3 separate orders, even had my own basket to keep them separated and the impatient kid ignored me and turned his head to look out the window because it was too much effort to get out of his chair and pick it up to scan it. The customer behind me, a regular customer that knew him had to ask him to get it. The kid told him he wanted to go on his break.
Then he starts ringing and throwing the second order in with the first. Had placed the black bar the separator on the belt and he saw I had my own basket keeping them seperate plus had the third order up top. He just snapped at me about how I hadn't told him to keep it separate.
The woman stocking came up and opened another register for the regular custome just ignoriing his rudeness....
