Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in New Hanover Township

Ordered 2 combo meals, 1 Philly Cheesesteak and 1 Buffalo Chicken, both Regulars. After I placed order my Husband waited for Cashier to hand cups/fries while I moved down to the prep area to wait for the rest of the order. The manager on duty asked me a question, I'm partially deaf and he spoke low. Confused I called my Husband over. Apparantly the MOD asked me if I needed to order. Which he then repeated only this time with the exasperated attitude of someone who thinks the customer is lost and confused. Husband told him we were together, MOD asked my Husband if the woman behind us was with him then asked me AGAIN if I needed to order. Husband reiterated that WE were together. MOD then asked if all 3 of us were together. After Husband told him WE were together yet again MOD and associate finally prepared the food. I'm Asian, Husband is white, Woman behind us was white. MOD assumed I was lost and assumed my Husband was with the woman behind us based solely on race/appearances. He then talked in circles because apparantly the idea of an interracial couple on base was beyond comprehension. Whole situation could've been avoided if MOD focused on completing the order instead. Additionally all 3 on duty weren't wearing gloves. Just dissapointing racism and unsanitary food...

Got to the counter to order my meal. Informed cashier I wanted “Everyday Special Cheesesteak” and add a regular drink ($7.49 meal + $2.29 regular drink = $9.78 + TAX = cheaper than what I paid). Now needless to say the cashier said let’s make it a meal and it’s cheaper (huuuhh???? No no keep it the way “I as the customer is requesting”). Cashier decided to ring up their way which was roughly $10.77 or $11.77…. Now needless there was a line so I proceeded to get my food and come back in line after the fact. I informed the cashier of the issue and they gave the vibe of “oh well some of our prices are different than what is displayed (I will say this WAS NOT in a attitude way, she was polite about it, but still ring up what the customer request and if it’s cheaper or more expensive either way just listen to the customer). Once I returned to my duty location 5 minutes up the road I went to eat my food. I see the small lettuce, 2 tomatoes (normal), but where’s my mayo???? I was not pleased with my visit to ocharleys today. I am here for 4 days and probably will take my business somewhere else..
