Roller coaster of emotions! Driving home on a road trip and wanted a sit down place. We saw the ratings online and wanted to give it a try. Aesthetic, smelled very greasy and stale smoke. We sat outside and hesitated on leaving. The manager or owner greeted us. He seemed fun so we decided to stay. We ordered fried pickles, a bleu cheese burger, CBT wrap and our friends got tenders. They both loved their tenders. The fried pickles seemed to be made in house and they were probably the best I’ve had. The burger was super messy but awesome. Same with the wrap. Glad we stayed. Service was quick and very friendly. We’ll definitely stop by if we’re in the area again!

Had the Philly sandwich with fries and breaded tenderloin sandwich. Garlic mushrooms where so good, we ate them before I had the chance to take a picture. To top it off they're offering Hot butter rum drinks. Everything was fantastic. Starting with the excellent service by one of the most friendliest servers I've encountered. When we expressed how good the hot butter rum was, she brought out the mix they use for us to see. I would highly recommend coming here for great food and adult beverages

CHICKEN & DICKIN WING NIGHT East Haven Wing Review: Very memorable wings night would be an understatement. I’m struggling to put into words the texture, flavor and all-round wing experience. The service A+, the environment was friendly and welcoming. Good-ole’ small town bar feel. As far as the wings, bigger isn’t always better. Deep-fried, yes. Juicy, sure. Crispy, in areas. Wet, drowning. Large, definitely. Flavorful, without a doubt. I did not care for any of the wing sauces at all

This was our first time at the EAST HAVEN tavern. The last night of summer weather, was perfect. ADAM was our server & HE IS TERRIFIC! Adam was fun, entertaining, friendly & had us laughing throughout the night! He made our time there, WONDERFUL !!! He was on top of everything the whole evening!!!!!! We stayed about 2.5 hours. Their patio & deck area is very relaxed & cozy ! The food was EXCELLENT! KUDOS TO THE COOKS ! I had the East Haven burger, my wife had the Bleu cheese burger. We had fries, coleslaw & macaroni salad. The garlic mushrooms were a great start to the experience! The was a lady server, don't know her name, who stopped by to check on us during the night, several times as well. !! GREAT SERVERS, GREAT COOKS, GREAT ATMOSPHERE ! WE WILL BE...

I went for the gizzards, and they were just what I wanted (a nice hillbilly throwback), but they are deep...fried...chicken gizzards. If you want fresh gizzards then you definitely want to check out East Haven Tavern. If you're into kale and organic raised beef then look elsewhere.

The staff was exemplary. Nice, attentive, respectful, and honest.

However, and I hate doing this, but 4 stars for smoking. I don't expect a bar to serve caviar, and businesses have to make choices. Still, its the same with patrons. I have avoided East Haven in the past due to smoking.

It's not a show stopper for me, but it is 100% a consideration when I decide where to eat or have a beer.

100% recommended, however, if you don't mind the smoke, want great service, and good...

Food was good, prices were decent but stopped coming. This location is not terribly close to our home but we came for the karaoke. We had come several times but k.j. had multiple equipment problems which I could overlook but the attitude I could not. It was a real shame too. The KJ's personality in the beginning was the main reason we drove so far and kept coming back. We liked the KJ and this bar so much we brought our friends with us! I don't know what happened but this particular night kj started off friendly but he took multiple breaks that night and became visually and verbally agitated. Though I know it was not us he was mad at, it sucked all the good mojo out of the room and...
