It's interesting, you know. I had kin that moved from Woodburn to Fort Wayne within the past year that were looking for a good place to eat. They are older and not tech savvy, so the only way they find out about great places to eat is still by word of mouth from one to the next. It was over a phone call to their old landline from my cellular that we discussed getting together for a meal the next time I ventured to Indiana. It was during our conversation which I learned that while they had lived only about twenty minutes away from New Haven, they really hadn't done much there and were still trying to "find" those great places to eat. Enter Google Maps on my phone as I check reviews and restaurant websites as I chat with my kin and inquire as to where they have and have not been. I ended up marking Manny's dream kitchen as a "want to go" and totally forgot about it until I recently traveled to Indiana to visit family. My friend and I were famished when we arrived in New Haven. We had been on the road driving for three and a half hours by the time we arrived. My relatives were playing in a card tournament, which left us hungry with time to kill. I pulled over and parked on the side of the street downtown. Getting onto the maps app and looking for a place to eat, and there it was, that "want to go" notation I had forgotten about. The funny thing was, we were parked just a couple of doors down from this place. After some back and forth discussion, we decided to try it. I'm glad we did. Our food was delicious. Breakfast is available all day and I had a Country fried steak skillet that was served on a dinner plate. My friend had the country fried steak dinner. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They have daily specials and for an interesting twist the menu has some Latin American/Spanish options to add a little spice to your meal. I'll definitely be back the next time in in Indiana. I felt the portions were decent and the prices were fair. Add in the delicious food and you have a place worth eating at often. Too bad I don't live closer.... I included a picture of my meal, mind you, I've already taken a...

I had the Chilaquiles, and my wife ordered the cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, and they added a pineapple ring to it. We entered through the back door due to their only parking out back. Walked inside and noticed there was more than one dining area. So we proceeded to the front, which is where we were greeted. The hostess found us a table quickly. We were able to choose our own, which was nice. The server assigned to our table promptly took our drink order and then gave us some time to decide what we wanted. She was polite and attentive to our requests. She even brought us drink refills before we were finished with the first. After our order arrived She gave us some time before she checked to make sure we were enjoying our food. What I ordered was a little unique, I thought. Scrambled egg on top of chorizo, freshly made tortilla chips, tomatoes, cheese, and green sauce. I wasn't sure how that would be, but I thought it was very good. Aside from the chips getting very soft being under all the toppings. It seemed to work. The pumpkin pie I ordered after tasted fresh and was very good. They offer different ways to pay. However, if you use a card, which many of us do be prepared to pay a little extra for using your card. Overall, I would highly suggest trying this locally owned place. Great selection of food, friendly staff and...

My latest visit,I was able to have lunch for the first time. I had Beef Manhattan. Very Delicious and very filling. I am looking forward to my next visit. Today, I had the Manny's Mix. It was a skillet that has EVERYTHING! Different meats & veggies w/eggs & cheese. I like to top it off wthot sauce. They have 8 different flavors. Try them out,say Cheeez sent you.

I visited Manny's Dream today and ordered the Manny's Mix again. Put my favorite hot sauce on it and was informed by Sarah that they have Apple Butter and Seedless Blackberry Jam by request for my toast. Next time, I'm going to try it with white sausage gravy! Can't wait for next time 😎

Well... Back at Manny's Dream for my Manny Mix. This time with added sausage gravy and jalapeños. Added my own garlic powder and no salt seasoning (Tony Chachere's)

This time, I ordered off their New & Improved Menus! I had a Hot & Delicious Philly Cheese Steak, which includes a side. ONION RINGS,my fav.

It's a short drive from most anywhere. Check them out, and ask for Sarah. Tell her...
