ENTERING: We made dinner reservations for our anniversary for the second floor on Open Table. We arrived at 6:30pm and were brought upstairs to their second dining room which felt a little more upscale. The first floor felt more lounge-esque with a large square bar in the middle of the floor. I’d say if you’re celebrating something, the upstairs is probably better suited for you! ATMOSPHERE/STAFF: When on the second floor, we sat right next to a glass fence that encased an opening in floor, showcasing the bar on the first floor. Across from us was the stage, where we heard smooth renditions of Motown/Sinatra type music. (We’re unsure how often musicians perform.) The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, and the ambience felt both sophisticated and lighthearted. FOOD REVIEW: Since we both did the Ladies Night Option, we had: (2) APPS: Squash Flower and Mission Figs (2) ENCORE SALADS (2) ENTREES: Pork Shank Osobucco and Seafood Risotto (2) DESSERTS: Mississippi Mud Cake and Tiramisu (Photos Attached) The food was good (not out of this world, but we were very happy.) The highlights were the squash flower app and the tiramisu dessert! OVERALL: We would go back and recommend dining here. However, I’m not fully sure that dining here on any other night besides Wednesday is as worth it. I would definitely recommend going on Ladies Night. For 2 people and 1 glass of wine (I didn’t drink), the check just cracked $100! Also, ladies night is open to any person at any time in the restaurant, not just for ladies! PARKING/SAFETY/ACCESSIBILITY: (P.S. There was a decent amount of parking right across the street that you had to pay for and there’s also street parking. We accidentally missed the turn in to the parking lot the first time around and ended up on the highway, so just be careful about that too. The area Goodfellas feels pretty safe if you’re curious. Also, I am not sure if the place is wheelchair accessible- they could have an elevator but I’m not sure, so when making your reservation ask!)

We have been coming to goodfellas since we were kids, about 15 years and it quickly became our favorite place to celebrate all of the important occasions in our lives. My husband and I held goodfellas on the highest pedestal, never poor service or bad food. Loved it so much. We couldn't wait to check out the new renovation and he had a birthday recently so I made reservations for a Wednesday night. The new look is stunning, love the downstairs bar area! We did sit upstairs to listen to the live music, his name was Michael and he was very friendly, introducing himself to all of the tables. That's all of the good, now here's what makes me a little bit sad. The charm of the old goodfellas is gone. There's no reference to the old restaurant left in the building, one Tony soprano painting downstairs can hardly carry the "goodfellas" reference in their namesake. One of my favorite parts of eating at this restaurant was the bean salad they'd give you as you first sat down. I've had two babies over that 15 years and each time I was pregnant, I would crave that so badly. It was so delicious, simple, such a wonderful touch. They no longer do that. They also don't give you the piece of bruschetta like they used to. I know they want to present as an upscale restaurant so some of those comfy, homey touches won't exist anymore, but I'll miss it. My husband ordered the pork chops which he's had many times over the years and he said it was different. Not bad, not great but different. I had the ladies night offerings, lobster ravioli as my entree and it was very tasty. All in all, we will probably be back, but it is a bit sad for us to have quite literally grown up with the old Goodfellas, and that it no longer exists. Rarely do we find a restaurant that we both LOVE, and it does feel as though that wonderful restaurant we once knew and spent so much time frequenting, is no more.

READ READ READ BEFORE PURCHASING! I purchased 2 filets from good fellas @1PM the waitress put my order in wrong as New York strips, I called good fellas to tell them this is not what I ordered they told me the manager was busy and would call me back tomorrow, the next day the waitress calls me back and argues that he took my order and I ordered New York strip. I told him I know my steak I did not order that! He then told me I needed to take the steak out of the trash and bring it into the restaurant even though it was ridiculous, I advised them can they start making my new meal before I get there considering how far I am, I got into the restaurant only for the manager to tell me he is not making me another steak, it needed to be fully intact when I explained to them on the phone I cut a piece off to eat to realize it wasn’t what I ordered, I always eat there and my money is good. He said all money is good, I spend $45 a pound for lobster meat I will buy another steak he is not accommodating me at all, which has nothing to do with my order, CAST IRON would never do business like this. A much better restaurant. I will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN! They are very unprofessional. Good fellas lost my business, I highly advice to make sure your food is the correct order because they will make you wait a day just to ask you to pull it out the trash drive all the way down there NOT ACCOMMODATE YOU. I paid $105.

Amazing food and drinks, and the daily live music is a plus! Great atmosphere for a date or a fancy night out. Andrew’s bar service was fantastic: he made us specialty drinks and helped us explore some caviar and oyster bar tastings. The cioppino was delicious! Will be back!
