New Haven Salad Shop — Local services in New Haven

I previously gave this shop a five star review, but I have since changed my review after several bad experiences since I have ordered from here. On two different occasions when I ordered from them through Uber Eats, my chips were open and stale and we were missing items. My family and I do enjoy their wraps, but they barely put any chicken inside of them. I guess today was a “third strike you’re out” type of day because we decided to order from them again and give them one last chance since their wraps are decent. I ordered pick up through Uber eats and I got a notification from them that my food was “probably” ready to be picked up. I show up there, their lights are off and the open sign is off. I double checked their business hours just to make sure I wasn’t going crazy as it was only 5:30 PM and it says they were supposed to be open until 9 PM. It was such a pain to get refunded through Uber eats and such a huge inconvenience. I will never order from here again. I don’t know what kind of place Has their status as open and available with Uber Eats when they’re really not. Meanwhile, people are placing orders and they’re getting money for food that people are ordering which they never received.

It’s equivalent to stealing!

Go somewhere else and spend your hard earned money at a more reputable place that actually considers their customers and...

I went into the salad shop near downtown new haven (by haven hot chicken) today 9/14 around 6:50PM to get a salad for my spouse and I; unfortunately, I left with no salad. Some guy with glasses was changing and condensing the veggies and things in different bins and asked me to wait to be served. When he was finally ready to help me I asked if he could wash his hands before making my food. You would think it was an outlandish and rude request as he said no and proceeded to tell me “it’s just dust from the previous gloves I had on.” I proceeded to ask again he ignored me and continued to do as he pleased. I just caught covid in August of 2022, (even putting covid aside) and I want to ensure the health of myself and my spouse. A simple pump of soap and some water wouldn’t have killed him. His rude demeanor is enough for me to not return. Do yourself a favor and head to another location or...

Ordered two salads, one for a co-worker and one for me and soup for my son for later. We received two salads and no soup. I called to see if they were going to bring the soup and they did not have anyone available and wanted me to come get it. The reason I had delivery in the first place is because I didn't have the time to go get it. I asked them to refund me the soup...we will see if that happens. When I opened my salad, it as not what I had ordered. I asked for Romaine & Spinach and received the mix. Most of the mango in it is hard and did not have time to ripen. I asked for cheddar cheese and contains blue cheese and cranberries, neither of which I asked for. It also contains red peppers which I didn't ask for either. The "grilled chicken" tastes like precooked chicken that you would purchase in bulk from a supermarket. Truly disappointed in today's...
