This review is for WBT online store. Bust 45in Waist 39in/40in Hips 50in.
I followed the measurement video & chart with my measurements and purchased 4 items that were listed XL- 0X (ORDER #7988). The (0X Dark blue long sleeve button down top w/ tab button cuffs, & chest pocket - 0X $23.00) did not fit my chest measurements (too small). But it did fit into their XL category. The (XL Emerald green high neck sweater w/ quilted style bust, kangaroo pocket, zipper, & ribbed hems - XL $24.00) I bought also did not fit however its measurements put it in their L category not XL. I bought a (0X White & multicolor floral embroidery button-up collared top - 0X $24.00) and it is GINORMOUS on me. Turns out the bust size puts it at a 4X on their size chart. And finally the (0X White & black Andy Worhol graphic long sleeve pullover sweater w/ drawstring hood - 0X $45.00) This one I was the most disappointed about. This sweatshirt was the whole reason I decided to purchase from WBT, the horse on the front looks like my old mare. It is EXTREMELY small, I could barely get it over my head to get on and I could not put my arms down. The tag reads small and I believe it. The bust size come to 43in which does put it in their XL/0X category but there is no possible way this sweatshirt is XL/0X. The idea of a universal sizing chart is fantastic but unfortunately through this experience I find that their chart is not so. I am happy that their online shop has closed as the sizing is not trustworthy.
Customer Service - one star I saw online that WBT has a returns policy. "All sales are final. We encourage that you thoroughly check all information provided for each product, especially measurements. Please refer to our size chart above to understand how our sizes are sorted. Mystery Bundles..." It is extremely frustrating to do everything right (look at the size video, look at the size chart, look at the measurements listed) and end up spending about $130 and have nothing fit. I have emailed them twice since December and have gotten no response. Not even a "we are sorry this happened, we will work to do better, unfortunately all sales are still final" Just ghosted. I reached out on Instagram - ghosted. It is worse to be ignored than to be told, "Sorry there is nothing we can do."
Conclusion, I love the brand values and what they are striving to achieve with their witchy, LGBTQIA+, plus size inclusivity. I believe that the people running this company are wonderful. I wanted to send my old clothes in to be priced and be able to get credit to buy more to support them either in person one day or online. However, after this experience and with the online shop closing I cannot justify that and will be selling my clothes on Depop and going back to square one of trying to find stylish clothing...
Read moreCouldnât be more disappointed with my online order. I ordered a mystery box online and got totally ripped off.
I paid $75 for a box that would contain between 5-8 items in early July. I didnât receive my order until mid December when I initially thought shipping would take 6-8 weeksâŚ. When I filled out the order form I gave my measurements as requested, what type of items I wanted/did not want, and what style I was looking for and almost none of that was taken into account.
I got 5 items, two of which were 6-8 whole sizes below what my measurements indicated. None of the items matches the âcottage coreâ aesthetic I asked for- everything was very basic and looked like it came off the racks at goodwill. I also got a pair of jeans and I specifically asked to not receive jeans as I have enough already. None of these items were what I asked for and clearly involved the bare minimum effort.
When I reached out via email to remedy the problem I was dismissed. I asked to send the items back for a refund and was not only denied but they suggested I just give the items away to someone else if I didnât want them. I even offered to cover the cost of return shipping to get a partial refund and have been ignored. The customer service was totally dismissive and rude and I couldnât be more disappointed. Thankfully they do not offer mystery boxes anymore so no one else will have to deal with this BUT donât expect a decent customer...
Read moreI ordered a $30 mystery box from WBT, and it was definitely the best money I have spent on such a thing. They give you a thorough questionnaire to answer and then specially citrate each box based on your sizes and style preferences. I was so excited when my box came too. The inside packaging was very cute and fun to open, and the special letter was so nice and thoughtful, and made me even more excited to see the clothing they picked. They special picked out a gorgeous red velvet vintage dress that fits amazing and is stunning, a very adorable princess meets witch dress that is basically something I was looking for in my closet (every fem person who likes dresses deserve a princess dress), and a really cool black and white shirt that I can wear this summer and will be a perfect sun cover over shirts and will look cool paired with my battle vest. Super stoked and next time I have the money, I will be ordering a bigger mystery box because it was worth every penny. The lovely people running WBT were also a dream to work with and you can tell they love what they do. Thank you bunches for the...
