Yesterday, we had a SPECTACULAR experience at botL in New Ken! As soon as we walked in the door, Bree (bartender/server) greeted us so warmly that we knew we made a great decision to try the place out! Then we were again greeted by one of the owners, Corey, and Chef Scott. They were discussing new and exciting menu ideas. We started off with a Strawberry Basil Smash cocktail! Bree made it into a mocktail after I explained that I have some health problems but really wanted to try it. It was sooooo fresh and absolutely divine! I had the Shotgun Wedding Soup which was phenomenal!!!! My friend had the Steak and Portabella sandwich and I had the French Dip. We both had Simple Mixed Greens as our side. Everything was just AMAZING!!!! Even the Simple Mixed Greens was spectacular!!! We shared a piece of the lucious Chocolate Indulgence Cake and ohhhhh myyyyyy!😍 Cooks, Naomi and Camille, worked together like two peas in a pod and sent out amazing food!! Chef Scott shared some stories about the amazing food. We then chatted with co owner Sean and were once again really impressed with the passion that this whole team shows about botL! PLEASE do your taste buds a favor and give botL a try! *we went for a late lunch so we were able to get a table, but a reservation is...

BOTL: A Hidden Gem ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

After a fascinating tour of Iron City, we stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant and we're so glad we did! BOTL has apparently been around for 4 years, and we can't believe it took us this long to discover it.

We arrived around 3:00 PM on a weekday, so the place was pretty empty. It's a cozy space, and we could see it filling up quickly during peak hours. Even though we ordered around 3:30, the staff was incredibly accommodating and let us order the special pasta dish that's usually only served after 4:00 PM. And oh my gosh, that dish was incredible! It was worth every penny (and the wait!).

My friends had the tacos and pulled pork, and they were equally impressed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. To top it off, the owner came over to chat with us after our meal. He was incredibly friendly and passionate about his restaurant. It's clear that BOTL is a labor of love, and it shows in the quality of the food and service.

If you're looking for a delicious and unique dining experience, be sure to check out BOTL. You won't be...

I went here with my 2 adult kids on Friday. It was so good. I had searched food near me, when we first moved here on Elmtree rd. In 2021,And nothing THIS good was near! Looked recently and it had great reviews so we went. Everything we had was top tier. Mushroom bisque, the bourbon hamburger and the Caesar salad were the best I can remember. The croutons in the salad were toasted buttery tasting.. so good. The hamburger was so flavorful. My kids had the salmon BLT, and the crab cakes which were raved over. It's small but the atmosphere is great and it's very clean. My new favorite place! I live 2 minutes away and I'm taking my husband there tonight, in just a few minutes!!

Update: took my husband. My husband loves GOOD crab cakes. Ones that aren't more breading than crab. He loved these and said these are exactly the kind he loved. We've eaten in many states and countries. We especially love a good Chefs menu to try all the unique creations. This is going to be our regular night out place!Very high quality food, and I have to try all of...

Botl has been a favorite of mine for years, but I have to put them on pause now :-( .. Inflation has hit all of us, and they are no exception. Can you believe I paid $9 (actually $10.50 once the "take-out" upcharge was added) for this Wedge salad? I got the puniest "wedge" which literally equated to 4 bites after I chopped it up.. $2.50 per bite of salad, OUCH... My Cacio was good, but the portion was also pathetic, it was about HALF of what I used to receive some time ago ... $30 and I am NOT full, (I weigh 180lbs, I don't have a huge appetite).. Last year, this same order for $30 would fill me up and I would have leftovers for lunch the next day. I am now much better off using my $10 for cabbage, blue cheese dressing, and bacon bits at Giant Eagle; since I will get 10x more food, if not more, and I am not over-exaggerating. $2.50 per bite of salad is criminal, even in today's America. This is New Ken, not New York.

I had the wedge salad with steak, med. The steak melts in your mouth and has a nice ,subtle seasoning. The combination of the candied bacon and fire roasted tomatoes was exquisite. My boyfriend had the Cacio e pepe.I believe this used to be a special of theirs but now it is on the menu. You can get it with chicken, steak, or salmon for an upcharge but it is well worth it. I can't say enough to make you understand the how this tastes other than your palate will certainly be pleased. We love watching them twirl the pasta around in the Pecorini cheese. We have already decided on our next trip here we are going to share the cacio e pepe and get dessert!
