Hubz Kitchen (at the New Ken Eagles) — Restaurant in New Kensington

Sorry I don't want to come across harsh but man what a total let down. I'm all for new places to eat in the area but I expected just much better. Firstly I don't get why a place like this doesn't have fresh cut fries, to get basically the equivalent of ore Ida fries is always a major disappointment. And then coming in a styrofoam container instead of a bag they're soggy beyond words. Same with all other fried foods. Bags aren't perfect but they're better than the condensation that builds up in styrofoam and makes it all soggy.

The steak hoagie, firstly didn't get the mayo I selected to have on it. But I think this hoagie had maybe 6 strands of peppers, and was so dry. Just bad all around... The bun was nice but the rest super dry and bland.

You were fairly quick so that's a plus. But honestly its really all just ok, nothing special and I'm sorry but I'm being honest.

We will probably try it again for wings and salads to see if we have better...

Wanted to try something local since we are in for a hockey tournament. My son and I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I had the taco fries and my kid had the bacon chicken ranch fries. Just picked up my order, which was supposed to be 3 PHILLY cheesesteaks but ended up getting 3 regular (not good) cheesesteaks. I know I didn't order wrong because there was a conversation in which whomever answered the phone was nothing but attitude as we discussed the differences between the two types. Fries were plenty but cold. They won't be getting anymore...
