It was 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. There were maybe 4 customers inside when we came in. We finally used the self order screen because it was a good 5 minutes before we saw any crew member. Some customer walked with a bag of food that she had obviously received in drive thru. She tried to get their attention by getting closer and closer to counter, clearing her throat numerous times. Finally she leaned over the counter and gave a shout.
When we received our order several minutes later, it wasn't correct. Once everything was corrected and we finally began to eat, we realized this was not the place we should have stopped at. If there were any ingredients in my 7 layer burrito other than beans and cheese, we couldn't find it. The tortilla was chewy and the entire burrito was flavorless. The nacho crunch double stack had very little cheese in between the hard and soft shell. The "dot" of cheese was about the size of a quarter. I think a coat of finger nail polish would have been thicker than this quarter size smear of cheese would have been. The hard shell in this item as well as the hard shell in the regular taco, had been somewhere collecting moisture. There was absolutely no crunch to the shell . In fact, these shells were actually rather chewy. When i tried the Chalupa, the same problem existed. The "shell" was so chewy that I finally gave up and just ate the filling with a fork. The best way to describe the taste of all the items would be "old". It was like the ingredients had been prepared several days earlier and had been warmed up more than once.
There are several fast food options close by. Please patronize one of them. I am not sure how someone hasn't come in and closed this particular Taco Bell. The crew members showed no since of urgency nor did it seem to bother them that almost every customer was retuning to the counter with something that was incorrect or missing.
A side note, the men's restroom was so disgusting that I am not even going to begin to guess when it had been cleaned last. A port-a-potty in a hot August sun would have smelled and looked cleaner than what I experienced when I opened the door.
Before a customer gets sick, someone please go in and correct the problems that exist at this Taco Bell. Patronize this Taco Bell at...
Read moreHave frequented this location the past year as an Uber eats driver, Door Dasher, and personal pickup. Overall have had great experiences. A few interesting observations and lessons learned. 1). Large orders put internal stress and congest the system. Expect long wait times and poorly made food due to the constant stretching thin of short staff and unrealistic expectations set on them for speed of service. Order for you, know what you want, be quick. Night and day difference. After having been a delivery driver, a mobile app pickup user, and drive through orderer I’ve started to consider larger orders to be rude and a disregard for what fast food has become. It’s not a restaurant to feed a family. It’s a place to get a personal meal or a bite on the go. Don’t order $40-$80 worth of food through DoorDash and then wonder why it’s cold when I deliver it. It just doesn’t keep. This is coming from a driver who brings you an order I watch get freshly made in front of me as I wait for it. 2). Don’t go inside. It’s a pandemic as it is and it’s just plain rude and a burden on the staff. Drive through like everyone else. 3). There are nationwide shortages on a lot of things. It’s not their fault they’re out of fire sauces. Have witnessed more poor treatment toward employees than good treatment and I mostly just pickup food deliveries so I’m not even in the building for too long. The things I’ve witnessed make me feel like these workers are vastly underpaid which won’t change. The young guy working the window isn’t even human. He’s a machine. Give that man a gold medal for literal top tier service. I watched the car in front of me throw an absolute tantrum and he was smiling and reassuring me about my bag contents by the time I inched up. I don’t know his name but he’s fast and gets it right every time. Will keep coming as long as he’s there. I posted this under a different name to keep my privacy as I deliver food from here every week but you guys know who...
Read moreI rarely eat Taco Bell—maybe once or twice a year—but I was craving it and decided to stop by this location for dinner with my son. I placed my order through the app for drive-thru pickup. When I arrived, there were only two cars ahead of me, and the line moved fairly quickly—until I got to the window. That’s when everything stalled. We waited nearly 25 additional minutes at the window, which was ridiculous. The employees looked disorganized and overwhelmed, and the line behind us kept growing.
When we finally received our food, the drive-thru attendant apologized and said they were busy, which I understood. But things went downhill from there. I pulled off to the side to give my son his meal, only to find the order was wrong. I had ordered (2) Discovery Luxe Boxes (same items, different drinks), (1) soft taco, (1) nacho fry, and specified (6) mild sauce and (6) avocado salsa packets. Instead, we were missing (2) Doritos Locos Tacos from my son’s Discovery Luxe Box, had an extra nacho fry and drink, and received zero mild sauce packets.
After waiting so long, I didn’t bother going inside to fix it, especially since it looked chaotic in there. On top of that, the food was cold, sloppily packaged and presented, and just thrown into the bag with no care. I don’t expect gourmet service from Taco Bell, but based on my experience and previous reviews—this location consistently underperforms. I had a similar experience back in 2019 and hadn’t returned until now. Clearly, not much has changed. This store needs serious attention from corporate—it’s a mess. Very...
