Hey everyone! Can't believe I have been remiss in not leaving a review. Some of our friends have recommended this restaurant and location to us. We tried it on my wife's birthday 2 years ago and joined the wine club asap. First we joined the 2 bottle tier then going and getting R bottles we found we couldn't stop buying more of their great wine. So we upgraded to the 3 bottle. Suggest you join the perks are well worth it!! 🥳 Now the food, the service and servers are all A1. Atmosphere is fantastic being older have not run into any crying babies or wild child's is fantastic. Can't say enough about the food 5 stars. The desserts are works of art! Reservations are strongly suggested. This location gets busy in a heart beat. We went there Friday the 25th of July. Usually we ask for certain servers, Danica( she's the best) , Noel( has since left), and Jeremiah also one of the best. We have had others but can't remember their names, also extremely personal and professional! Yesterday we had Lou and Trevor ( Can't say enough about these 2 either)who were more than capable of taking care of you! Have not ran into a bad server or bad food!! Which means to me they are hiring the right people and the training is extensive. Plus all the managers we come across are extremely personal and professional. More about Lou and Trevor and Nick. When that place exploded they still took time to converse with us going to do their jobs and coming back multiple times!! Highly professional and personal servers and good people. Can't find that too many places. We extremely recommend you check out this Cooper Hawk location. And join the wine club. Very high compliments to all involved from owners on up to staff. Keep up the fabulous work people. Give yourselves a pat on the back. We'll deserved! Cooper Hawk is distancing itself from the pack! Thanks for your time...
Read moreSo i have been to many of the coopers hawk restaurants in the area and up until now have had a great experience. On Friday March 29 th we decided to go to your new lennox location. While waiting to be seated we decided to do a wine tasting, so we approached the counter .One of the staff asked if we would like to do a tasting so i said yes, but after she found out we were wine club members her attitude changed and the service was terrible. I was wondering why this woman would know longer pay attention to us , as if she lost a commission? The next day around one o'clock in the afternoon i called and spoke to a female manager about the issue that occurred at the counter and explained that we have been club members for quite some time the way we were treated was very rude. She agreed and expressed her concerns about the situation and apologized for the way we treated. I clearly asked this manager if her staff is on a commission basis and she said absolutely not, which was strange because after i spoke with her i called the orland park location and spoke to the manger there and she said yes her tasting staff is on a salary and commission basis! Not only is lying to people very rude, lying to your customers is very unprofessional. This manager from the new lennox location also asked for all my personal information in regards to rectifying the situation , she said she would be sending some gift cards in the mail and once again how sorry she was.Well I'm sorry to say that after almost two months later, still no gift cards, lol. The basis of this dissertation is to hopefully have some one from their H.R. department train their employees better and treat all there customers with respect regardless if they are wine club...
Read moreWorst tasting room experience ever at a Coopers Hawk! Started when we walked in, we met a couple of friends, and had the same tasting attendant, her name was Tracy. After the first taste it was all down hill. She was super nice to our friends and all the other elder people in the tasting room. Both my husband and I believe that she was cold to us due to our age and our sexuality, as a gay married couple, borderline discriminating. I have never experienced such poor service from a tasting room attendant as I had with Tracy. She tried to tell us we couldn't experience other tastings we had to follow the tasting sheet, and we were not allowed to do a duet. We even had to call the manager Dan, who quickly corrected the situation, then it got worse, we were always the last person she poured, and she started marking down my husband and I's tastings. Only for us, mind you. I have no idea how Coopers Hawk can employ such a rude and inefficient person. Tasting room attendants are the first line person that people meet when they enter, they should be cheery and very friendly. First experience counts. We have been to Coopers hawks all over the state of illinois, Wisconsin, and the state of Florida and have never, ever experienced such ill mannered service that we did with Tracy. I should note that my husband is an Ambassador at Coopers hawk, and this commentary only reflect Tracy's terrible service at the New Lenox location.
Note: the restaurant and food was good. This comment only reflects the tasting...
