I am appalled and deeply disappointed by the utterly disgraceful experience I had at Bob's Burgers with my husband. What was supposed to be an enjoyable outing turned into one of the most unpleasant and disrespectful interactions I have ever encountered at a restaurant. It is evident that this establishment, particularly under the management of Julia Francia, has absolutely no regard for customer service or basic decency.
To start, the behavior of the employees was not only unprofessional but outright hostile. Our change was tossed aggressively at us after expressing to cashier that we did not receive the right amount of change back; which sent a clear message of contempt and utter disrespect. The final straw, food and drinks were literally thrown in our direction as if we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. This is not just a minor inconvenience or bad dayâit is indicative of a toxic culture within this establishment that has no place in the service industry.
Whatâs more shocking is the complete lack of accountability from Julia Francia, the manager. A manager's job is to lead by example, resolve issues, and ensure customers feel valued. Instead, she allowed this unprofessional and aggressive behavior to persist. This speaks volumes about the lack of training, oversight, and care from leadership.
This kind of behavior doesnât just ruin a customerâs experience; it tarnishes the reputation of the entire brand. Treating customers this way can result in a loss of loyal patrons, bad word-of-mouth, and ultimately, declining sales. Nobody wants to dine at a place where they feel unwelcome, mistreated, or even threatened. The food and atmosphere are irrelevant if customers are met with hostility and disdain.
I cannot stress enough how damaging this kind of treatment is. Beyond losing my business, Bobâs Burgers has alienated potential customers as I will make sure to share my experience with friends, family, and on every review platform I can find. People deserve to know the kind of mistreatment they risk encountering at this establishment.
If Bobâs Burgers wants to salvage any shred of integrity, they need to take immediate action. This includes disciplining or removing hostile employees, retraining the staff on proper customer service practices, and reconsidering the leadership of Julia Francia, who clearly does not prioritize customer satisfaction.
Until serious changes are made, I would urge anyone considering Bobâs Burgers on Rio Bravo to stay far away. No one deserves to be treated with such blatant disrespect and aggression. Like someone please tell me how he managed to give me everything I didnât want! For example I order a burger with red chili cheese only (no lettuce, no tomatoes) and a red chili cheese fry with nacho cheese sauce to which he says âsure I can do thatâ bc I asked if it was ok first. I cannot eat the green chili bc itâs soo hot (but delicious) thatâs why I ask for red chili, not that it matters ofc. What he gave me is a ranchero burger with green chili, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes and sliced cheese in the red chili cheese fries, not cheese sauce as og asked (nacho cheese). Not what I ordered and paid for. I would much rather have ordered online which was an option at every other location, except for Rio Bravo and the one on SW central.    Read moreBe prepared to wait over 30 minutes for one cheeseburger and fry. I arrived and ordered at 6:25 with two people in front of me. They get called pretty fast and the time starts to tick by. I wait 25 minutes before getting back in line to see about how much longer it would be. I asked the lady and she said âwell thereâs only one of me not sure what to tell ya. Youâll be called when your order is ready.â (She appeared to be an elderly woman with long gray hair pulled back into a ponytail).
I donât mind waiting at all but if itâs going to be 30 minutes for ONE cheeseburger it would be really nice if they could let customers ordering know that.
