Betsy's Pancake House — Restaurant in New Orleans

I ordered on Uber eats, so this review is not from inside the restaurant itself. However, it IS about the food. I ordered enough so I would have breakfast and something to eat for dinner. Mistake. Biscuits and gravy - my biscuits definitely tasted like it had been left out overnight and was so dried out my gravy would not even absorb. I don’t throw food away, but that definitely went in the trash. It was more like a thin scone or something. Chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and grits - I don’t know what kind of meat was in the chicken fried steak because it was gray. I still managed to eat about a quarter of it before giving up. Eggs and grits were fine after salt and butter. English muffin – it was burnt and also soggy. Not even sure how you accomplish that. Also seems like it is wheat and tasted very chemically. I didn’t even swallow the bite I took. Corned beef hash – I love corned beef hash. Now, this did taste like corn beef hash. Which is fine, I ate it. The problem here was I probably got 4 ounces for $7.50. Since I ordered it as a side, I expected them to at least fill up a portion of the side square foam containers. Just look at the picture. Unfortunately, this is what I opened first and immediately went to Uber eats to report it and get my money back. After opening all the other items, I should’ve got a refund for the full meal. My husband & I came here from out of town for my birthday & when we walked in, the only person that was nice was Ashley(we heard her name 50,000 times lol. That’s how we knew her name) & willing to talk to anybody that came in. The server we got(blonde hair, pink shirt, older) was rude as I don’t know what! My husband nor myself got refills on ANYTHING, never got asked did we need anything, how is everything or nothing. She just kept walking passed us like we didn’t exist. I’m a server myself & I NEVER treat my customers like this even on my worst days. Well I ordered the 2 eggs & ribeye(expecting an actual ribeye) & after waiting 35mins, instead I got served a itty bitty piece of hard as Idk what meat, wasn’t medium like I asked for but instead was WELL done, hard to chew, no seasonings except right in the center of the piece of meat & it tasted HORRIBLE, eggs were good, raisin toast was good & so was the banana nut Belgium waffle. The atmosphere was ok. We loved hearing Ashley laughing & actually COMMUNICATING w/ her customers making sure they had everything they needed. We wish we had her to be honest. For $50.32, my husband & I expected better. Even the lady at the register was rude. We were so ready to go that we couldn’t even finish our food. We packed it all up & left! This place has very good food most of the time, but the staff are always playing games with each other, screaming across the place. The last time I went there, which will be the last time I go there, it was myself along with with 2 guys I work with. I AM IN THE MIDDLE of placing my order and then she tells me without blinking an eye, hurry up, there is food up and they are buzzing me. She then turns around and walks away without completing the order. She then comes back to the table to complete the order after an additional 10 mins of waiting, then I say I have never heard of a beeper system like that. She then completely disregards any respect that should be upheld between two human beings, and begins saying how would you like me to get my boss because she can tell you how it works around here, then I said no that's not what I meant, I was just trying to start a conversation and be friendly then I say wow never mind. Then she returns with yea your right wow don't give respect I won't give respect. I have no reason to lie about any of this becaus I wont gain nothing about lieing.
