Drive-Thru Hostage Situation - My Order Was Stolen Back!

Review:

What in the world was that? Just had the most bizarre and infuriating experience at this Burger King drive-thru.

I paid for my order, and as the worker was handing me the bag, they just... wouldn't let go. I had a firm grip on it, they had a firmer grip on it, and we had a weird, silent tug-of-war for a few seconds through the window. I thought it was a joke at first, but the employee had a completely deadpan expression.

Then, they YANKED the bag right back out of my hands, looked at the receipt, and said, "This is the wrong order." Okay, mistakes happen, I get it. But instead of apologizing and giving me the correct one, they took MY bag and placed it behind the counter. Then they handed me a cold, small bag and said, "Here. For the trouble."

I drove off, too confused to argue. When I opened the bag, I found two cold, sad-looking mini cheeseburgers instead of the Whopper meal I paid for. So not only did they physically take back the food I was given, but they "replaced" my $9 meal with what amounts to a $2 side of regret.

I essentially paid for two sliders and the privilege of having my food stolen by an employee. This wasn't a drive-thru; it was a scam. Absolutely unbelievable. Management, train your staff on how to handle mistakes without resorting to literal food theft. I want a refund, but more than that, I want the last twenty minutes of my life back.

The burger combo I purchased the lettuce was wilted and brown finger print in the bun this is happened to me at this store before it dosent look appetizing or Appealing when I complained I was meet with such aggressiveness from employees because I’m complaining about the sight of this disgusting burger and it doesn’t look like it looks on here it was a whopper combo $10.13 I think the cards last four card digits are 5374 I called not able to get through the do believe that city employees deserves an increase in minimum wage but then this happens it’s not what I want to have so I’m actually not Having it my way AT ALL if you are going to get paid more than the service should be quality JUST AS the service and the person providing the service this is not good with all the contaminated and uncleanliness in eateries today it’s very sickin and kids meals PLEASE YOU MUST DO BETTER everything in our city is CLOSING DOWN...

I asked for a Double Croissanwich with bacon, egg, and cheese, and even asked the person taking my order (twice) if that meant double everything, she assured me that it did. I drove away with my order, and when I got home (a 10 minute drive away) and pulled it out to eat it, it was one of the most depressing things I had ever been served. There were several scrawny strips of bacon on it, which you could tell had originally been maybe two whole strips, broken up and placed on each side of the very thin scrambled egg (was it even a whole egg?!) and slice of cheese. Probably the ONLY thing doubled on it was the grease. If I had had the energy and been capable of driving back there, I would have gladly returned it and asked for my $7.19 back. Sadly, I had not slept in two days, nor eaten anything substantial, so I ended up just STFU and eating it, grateful to have SOMETHING in my belly, and just going to bed. Ugh. NOT...
