Adikus is amazing. One of the best barbers I've had in my entire life. Sadly I've only been able to get one appointment with him the next time I made an appointment I was booked with Trent. I couldn't see that well what he had done to my hair in the shop. But when I got home my partner asked if I cut my own hair because it was that bad. I have a side shave and he cut into my long hair and it was extremely uneven. Ever since then I've been trying to set another appointment with Adikus but I keep getting blocked my Trent as he keeps trying to make me only book with him telling me the only available appointments would be with his days no matter how far out I try to set an appointment. I tried booking a slot that would not be with him and it tied out it was his time slot and again he ruined my hair. Some spots where a super smoothie shade too short the others too long. It was very crooked. He also rushed and didn't understand what I was needing him to do. I have hair trauma from a string of bad stylist my entire life. Adikus has been the only person to put those fears at ease. I really love this spot but only want someone in my hair I can trust to make me look good. I will change my review score of I can ever book an appointment with whom is like instead of constantly getting blocked my Trent. Mind you he has been blocking my from booking with Adikus...

I had the pleasure of meeting both Adikus and Trent; they are charming, in demand, and graciously efficient.

Parking is available around the back as they’re situated in a section of building that rents out space to multiple businesses.

DO: text for an appointment a couple days out in a block of 1-2 hours. Stick to your time. It will make things much easier because they will come through on it.

I sat down with Trent. It was a playful and to the point encounter; he had some welcoming jokes and a banter that read me like a book: I’m in town for a couple of days, I don’t get my hair cut that frequently, I’m more interested in maintenance vs impressions. 10 minutes later he had me ready to go. It’s a great cut and I’m ecstatic that I have the rest of my day available to me. Now mind you, the woman sitting beside me had a different set of desires and they adapted to her in the same manner.

I have plans for coming back to NOLA in the near future, I’m hoping that the world is kind to these two so that their business will continue to grow. As for hair, they’re good for it. If you want a Mohawk, Trent would...

I had very bad experience with them. I am a local resident, and beautiful-magical Laurie has been cutting my hair in R-bar for many years, but they closed, and I needed a haircut ASAP and was referred to '2 guys" on Facebook. I sent them a message on Thursday and did not get a reply, so I went to Healing Center on Friday morning to make an appointment. I waited for an hour for them to open - just to be told that they have no appointments available on Friday or Saturday. I was a bit frustrated, I thought "They could leave a note outside, so people do not wait in vain..." When I came home, I saw a message from them on Facebook messenger to come at 3.30. so I came back at 3.15 and was told "It was supposed to be on Saturday" There was nothing about Saturday in their message, I even texted them back to confirm. I was trying to explain that I work on Saturday, and they did not specify what day I am supposed to come...I only needed a 10 minute trim, they could easily squeeze me in.. This is not a professional way to treat customers! I can't say anything about their haircuts, as I never got one, but I am really pissed and will never...
