Stopped in this new cafe called eats the other day. First of all the owner Jack is a hoot, he met us with a big smile and instantly made us feel so welcome. He explained all the offerings and told us about this fabulous Italian menu including American sandwiches offered for lunch every day. Read moreWhat a treat! Amazing new gem. Jack, the owner, is so warm and inviting. Bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit was delicious. I can’t wait to go back to try his homemade bagels! Gorgeous display of hand made sweet and savory treats. We tried the gingerbread, which was outstanding. And of course took a big box of treats home.
Jack is working with Google to update the hours - as of today they open at 7AM. He will also have gourmet coffee starting next week!

Read moreStopped on an impulse this morning after seeing a new place on Maple Street, and I am SO glad that I did! Good food isn’t hard to come by in New Orleans, and Eats didn’t disappoint in that regard. However, what really stood out to me was the genuine kindness of the owner Jack, who took the time to chat with every single customer. He made us feel so welcome, and we can’t wait to stop by and try out the pasta menu soon!
