I have eaten here twice with my fiance and I cannot say enough positive things about this GEM! The staff here are amazing! Super friendly and helpful. The gyoza is literally the best I have ever had. I'm still thinking about the tempura cheescake!!!
The first time I came was late on a Sunday and the food was to go. I was really over the moon about the care and detail that was put into packing the food to go. The hot items were on the bottom with cardboard to keep everything in place and to keep the hot boxes separate from the cold boxes. The soup was packaged in a separate bag. All of the boxes are sustainable and have a cute sticker on the top. They included disposable wooden chopstix of great quality and some really awesome polished wood resusable wooden chopstix too!!!
Back to the food. So far we have tried the gyoza which is pan seared and comes with this sauce that is so good!!! We also tried the salad with ginger dressing and that alone I could eat every day! The clear soup is yummy too. Tatsuta Age was really crispy and flavorful with a perfect sauce to compliment the app. Tempura shrimp and veggies was also really good, I was especially impressed that they were crispy and not greasy. I also had the ramen and I highly recommend the udon noodles.
20/10 definitely eating here again and sending everyone who will listen to experience this authentic, well...

I could go all day with one-word summaries of how good this place was.
I'm an Omakase type diner, so my date and I sat in front of Chef Edgar and Chef Dylan requested that they just " do their thing", until i tap out.
They did not disappoint. Everything was plated perfectly. Tasted delicous. Wonderful layers of flavor on every dish. I was never left waiting for food. In fact, the restaurant was full, and they managed to keep plates flying to tables while feeding a full sushi bar. Dem boys are good. Also, the few hot dishes I got from the kitchen were so good! Highly recommend the spicy edamame.
They're currently waiving a corkage fee so BYOB. Brought our own bottles of wine to enjoy with this amazing meal. There is a mini mart right next door with great deals , so convenient.
As you're reading this, youre probably saying: "Wow..great review! theres no more you can say, I'm already sold and eating there tonight!". But there is more, and to me, is equally as important as the food. THE SERVICE! Our waitress, Kaci, was nothing short of incredible. Great service, so attentive and greeted us with a smile as we walked in. She made an already outstanding meal, an overall phenomenal experience.
I highly recommend this beautiful new gem of a sushi restaurant perfectly located in...
Read moreThe food was good. Service wasn't. No liquor license. $2 "corkage" fee per beer and they will count your beers. I always thought corkage had an element of service or some glassware involved but no you get up from your chair, walk to the convenience store next door, buy beer, bring it in the door, set it on your table and drink it out of the container that it came in. I don't know why the restaurant charges for that. Restaurants that sell liquor can charge markup and corkage on top of cost but there's no markup and no true corkage here. 45 minute wait and then almost 2 hours to get our food after that. The restaurant wasn't even full and we had no napkins or chopsticks for about 30 minutes. The owner was milling about but not really bussing tables or helping the waiter. I feel bad for that guy. Waiter also didn't ring in 2 items that we ordered. They'll get it right eventually but they clearly have a lot of staff problems right now. I'll try it again in a year if they stay in business....
