A good place to get boudin sausage and alligator meat

Boudin balls 8.8/10 They sometimes sell freshly cooked Boudin balls. If you happened to see a few under the heat lamp, i recommend you buy them all

The cajun pies 8.7/10 are basically an empanada filled with creole gumbo. Soupy and bursting with flavor, be sure to have plenty of napkins on hand.

Crawfish boudin 9.9/10 The only reason it's not a 10/10 is due to the casing breaking while cooking. Some would see this is a good thing because you don't want to be gnawing on tough sausage casing while attempting to enjoy a meal. But this is the best boudin sausage I've had anywhere.

Alligator fillets 9.5/10 In terms of alligator meat, it's great. They tenderize it and cut it into serving size portions of about 3"x4" 1" or...

I stopped in after towing a car from Jackson ms down to the area and wanted some hot fresh Boudin to eat on the way back to Jackson. Right from the start the customer service was excellent and very friendly. I bought some hot boudin and a few packs to take back plus a debunked chicken and other things. I have eaten Boudin from all across the south and grew up in the cajun restaurant and meat market business. And I have to say that Chris' Boudin is right up there with my family's. It was delicious. I will update on the rest later once I have cooked and ate it. But I will definitely be keeping this place in my address book for when I'm even passing near the area....

Purchased Angus Burgers, Eggplant & Shrimp Stuffed Chicken & recently a Green Onion & Peppers Stuffed Pork Roast & all were delicious. All reasonably priced, also. I added a few spices to the roast, including apple cider vinegar, red potatoes & carrots, threw it all into a Dutch oven & it was amazing. Like, hurt yourself eating seconds & leftovers. Friendly staff & great customer service. During one visit, I was offered a sample of Hogshead cheese & was given some for home. I thought it added an extra touch to their previous great service.
